The Mets keep signing pitchers which is DEFININETLY what we want for next years roster. You need as many AAA/MLB level relievers that we can get because you may have to try 10-11 different pitchers before you cam set your bullpen.

I wish their was a way to set all their contract options to three so you can freely bring guys up and down without having to worry about waivers.

I hear we have offered Soto 730 million over 15 years and that we are still in the running for signing Alonso again.

Plus we will be after that one Japanese pitcher.

Next years roster could be a monster one for the Mets. I am ready for a 162 game domination on my Franchise.

IMO, these Soto negotiations for Uncle Steve and the Mets have to had included conversations about Alonso as well. Packaged deal for Boras?

MLB needs to step in and keep stuff like this from dragging on.

Stuff like the Soto saga keeps the big market teams in power.

Soto is holding the whole damn free agent market up. Only the large markets are going to benefit from that.

I AGREE WITH YOU THERE IS DEFINITE COLLUSION FROM ALL PARTIES INVOLVED.

There are only 5 teams that could possibly sign Soto -Dodgers-Blue Jays-Mets-Yankees-Red Sox. Only TWO the Mets and Yankees were ever going to go past the $700 million mark

Now other dominos will start dropping.. Alonso up next for Uncle Steve! Then possible McNeil/Marte trade at some point. Things just heating up! LFGM.

I am almost certain that the Mets are going to resign Pete Alonso. I will be shocked if they don't.

The Mets will have one of the most powerful rosters in the game.

I am also certain they will also sign a top flight starter as well.

I play at a snail's pace, I'm only at mid-August in my first season of 24. Hopefully this motivates me to pick up the pace and get to the off-season so I can sign Soto. I'd really love to keep this franchise going and get some length out of it instead of buying 25 and starting over

If you’re in August you are doing alright. I am slower than you to the point i might pass on 25 unless there is some important changes. 24 plays a really good game since i quit using QC.

Oh I am sure I will get it, unless the reviews are bad but it won’t be when it comes out. I am having to much fun with the Royals right now and running a month or so behind you. Unless they blow my skirt up with some good improvements on something then I will be a day 1 guy too.

Christmas came early. I can already feel it right now, I'm going to finally win the Word Series again. Can't wait for my first road trip to DC. It might be expecting too much from ''Little Things'', but I hope they boo me when I bat with Soto at Washington.

If I don't play with Alonso in MLBTS25, then I may consider moving Soto to first. If I have Alonso, then I plan on playing Alonso at first half the time and half at DH. And I'll play Soto at first the other half, and split the rest of his time between OF and DH.

Can't wait to compare my budget to the Dodgers in 25.

Assuming that Alonso resigns this is how I will try my batting lineup once all this free agent stuff is done.

1. Nimmo/Siri
2. Marte/ Taylor/Siri - depending on who is in on the roster.
3. Lindor
4. Soto
5. Alonso
6. Vientos
7. Alvarez
8. Mcneil if he isn't traded
9. Baty if he isn't traded

Of course all this depends on if they don't trade for some more pieces.

That is a solid dominant lineup.

Why do you think he is better at the second spot than clean up?
