I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Shareable draft classes would make classic rosters in franchise a massive W. Being able to replay history if you willPS5 SN - smurf922Comment

Some good stuff here. I think more than anything I am excited about the presentation additions to franchise. These are much needed and will give each franchise a different feel. Hopefully you get info on other teams and not just your own. This will help make the league feel more aliveComment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Deep Dive Franchise Front Office Experience
Loving some of the new franchise presentation tidbits. I’m also hoping that since they showcased the standings graphic, that it will finally no longer spoil the results of the other games being played that day. Nothing worse than being in a division/pennant race, and that days results being spoiled in the intro.Last edited by Baseball Purist; 02-25-2025, 01:52 PM.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Deep Dive Franchise Front Office Experience
As a Jays fan vlad isn't worth the 45 - 50 Mill a year he's looking for. He doesn't play a Premium position He's had a year and a half of good baseball. Will a drunk owner give him that maybe but not because of actual worth because of age and that contract will age badly.
But Positives all around for franchise updates. Day 1 for myselfComment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Deep Dive Franchise Front Office Experience
After re-watching the video I have some questions about the “priorities” portion of the free agent process. There are options like “left handed/right handed” bat and “ground ball pitcher”. I wonder if players will now be assigned roles or if these roles like ground ball pitcher will just be based on attributes like H/9Comment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Deep Dive Franchise Front Office Experience
Definitely impressed with this. Granted, I still want Online Franchise back more than anything.
I did like a lot of what I saw, the upgraded contract values and demands are huge. It really was hard before because the teams budgets were realistic, but the contracts weren't, so teams always had a ton of money, and Free Agency was never very dynamic.
I really like this new system because it replicates the real offseason. I love how long the offseason can be, and this seems you really gotta prioritize certain guys and unlock the interest meter before even offering a contract is sweet, and the fact the players have motivating factors is a huge plus I was not expecting.
I am pleasantly surprised. The presentation enhancements continue to be awesome, and really breathe life into the franchise over the last couple years with the ticker on the bottom.Comment

..... .288 career avg, gold glove 1b, 30+ homers 3 of his last 4 years.... and entering free agency at 26. I'm sure he will get 40mil a year IRL . In that MLBTS video, they gave that man a 200 mil contract lol Alex Bregman just signed for 40 mil a yearComment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Deep Dive Franchise Front Office Experience
I am a pre order every year guy, but I usually don't pay the extra money for early access though. This video alone has changed that. Just preordered the digital deluxe for early access. The off season is one of my favorite parts of the game, and these improvements are going to be huge for my enjoyment of the game.Last edited by Willis135; 02-25-2025, 02:26 PM.Comment
