Not yet, but as the calendar flips to May in about 5 days, roster shuffling could become a thing.

The lone run came from Cal Raleigh (SEA), who hit a solo home run to left field in the 2nd which ended up being proving to be the game-winner.
Oakland’s offense struggled, with lone bright spot, Tyler Soderstrom (2-for-3).

Totally your call. There will be a patch that fixes bugs. And there will be a roster update.

I always just take the default roster/launch day rosters and start immediately. I don't like to wait.

Currently heading into May of my franchise.

Jays take 2 out of 3 against the Nationals in a high scoring series, where both pitching staffs struggled. Blue Jays out scored the Nationals 26-22 in the series. In game one the Blue Jays blew a 6-0 lead, and lost in extras 8-7. They bounced back, and won 8-5 & 11-9.

Pitching struggled in this series especially the bullpen. Jays have an off day to try to work out some kinks before heading to New York for a tough series.

              Jays (4-3) 2nd in AL East - 1.5GB

              Up next: @NYM (5-1)

Re: MLB The Show 25 Franchise Discussion

Well, the most recent week of games for Toronto was their most successful one of the season so far, winning all seven games played, including a pair of extra inning victories in Boston and Baltimore. As a result, the standings after two full weeks looks like this:

                AL East:
                Toronto 13-4
                New York 12-3
                Boston 8-9
                Tampa Bay 7-8
                Baltimore 6-10

                AL Central:
                Cleveland 8-7
                Kansas City 8-8
                Chicago 7-8
                Detroit 6-9
                Minnesota 6-10

                AL West:
                Houston 14-1
                Sacramento 9-7
                Texas 8-8
                Seattle 8-8
                Los Angeles 4-11

                NL East:
                Philadelphia 9-8
                New York 8-7
                Washington 7-8
                Miami 7-9
                Atlanta 7-9

                NL Central:
                Pittsburgh 10-6
                Chicago 8-10
                Milwaukee 7-9
                Cincinnati 7-9
                Chicago 6-9

                NL West:
                Los Angeles 10-7
                San Diego 9-7
                Colorado 6-9
                San Francisco 6-9
                Arizona 5-11

The fact the the defending champion Dodgers are currently out front in the NL West isn't a surprise at all, but what is a surprise is seeing Pittsburgh leading the way in the NL Central. Joey Bart has been the reason for the early season success for the Pirates so far this season, and Pittsburgh hopes he can keep that up. Meanwhile, Houston has started off on absolute fire, winning their first fourteen games in a row to start off before finally dropping a game. Toronto has gotten red hot themselves, as their seven game winning streak has them in a dead heat with New York for first in the AL East, and that is mainly due to the offence that Anthony Santander has provided for the Blue Birds as he currently leads the club in homers with 8 and RBIs with 18. Toronto is now back home to take on the Atlanta Braves in their next series

The Detroit Tigers secured their first win of the season with a 4-0 victory over the Seattle Mariners, capitalizing on a costly error and strong pitching.

In a pivotal moment, Seattle's Donovan Solano committed a throwing error that prevented an inning-ending double play, setting up Kerry Carpenter’s three-run home run to break the game open. Carpenter finished 2-for-4 with three RBIs.

Detroit starter Matt Manning was dominant, tossing seven scoreless innings, allowing just five hits, striking out seven, and walking none. Logan Gilbert took the loss for Seattle, surrendering four earned runs over five innings.

Despite a solid effort from their pitching staff, the Mariners' offense continued to struggle, managing just one run and failing to capitalize on scoring opportunities. Dylan Moore provided a bright spot for Seattle, going 2-for-3, but the team couldn’t string hits together to generate consistent offense.

After dropping their first four games and losing in extra innings the night before, the Tigers bounced back in a big way, while the Mariners’ offensive woes persist.

Series:Seattle( 5-2) take series 2 to 1. Seattle will now go on the road for 1st time this season to San Francisco (4-2), where Luis Castillo will look for his 1st win even with 6 K's in 6 innings pitched.San Francisco will respond with Jordan Hicks who also missed out on the win in his 1st start of the young season

Re: MLB The Show 25 Franchise Discussion

                        Quick one today.

                        The 2025 Seattle Mariners

Lets hope this is as worse as it gets this season

                        Series Recap: Texas Rangers
                        Game 1: L 6-10
                        Game 2: L 2-6
                        Game 3: L 2-9
The Pink Gorilla Games high performer of the series: No one.

What a disappointment. The first game we were up by one in the 9th and that usually means we're winning with how good the back end of the bulpen was so far. But then they came in and scored 5 runs.

The second game was a bullpen game, since Castillo wasn't fit. We got smacked around for the whole game and could not get anything going against Jon Gray.

The third game was a Jacob DeGrom masterclass: 7 innings, 1 walk, 0 hits, 12K. Shawn Armstrong was on the way to finish a combined no hitter, but in the 9th inning with 2 outs Cade Marlowe registered the first hit of the game, followed by a Julio homer. On the other side Kirby had another rough outing giving up 9 runs in 3.1 innings. With the bullpen game the day before it was rough to take him out early as well, he should have been subbed out even earlier.

Our bench combines for 8 hits in 55 at bats so far this season. 4 of those hits are coming from Mitch Garver. There needs so be something done, because there is no way to win games when there is one of those guys playing.

Next up are 3 games at the Reds, then 3 at Blue Jays team that came out of the gate very well. This could be a very dark stretch coming up.

Quick update as the Marlins finish up the month of June with a 37-46 record somehow going 17-9 in the month. They are still 16 games back but pitching has been great and the hitting looks like it's turning around with Xavier Edwards coming back from the Injured list.

The month of July will be a big update with the draft and the trade deadline included. Still will be sellers at the deadline as Sandy Alcantara and Jesus Sanchez will most likely be dealt.

Not the start to the season I was hoping for. Mets jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning but the Astros were able to tie it in the 5th. In the 6th they took a one run lead then tacked on another in the 7th to make it 3-1. Mark Vientos tied the game in the 8th with a two run HR and the game ended up in extra innings. We scored the free runner in the 10th to take a 4-3 lead and Edwin Diaz struck out the first batter in the bottom of the 10th so I had a chance to strand the free runner and get the win. Then Jose Altuve hits a 3-2 slider for a walkoff HR...Astros win 5-4
