It wasn't a little thing to me. I was enjoying my first game until the 6th inning and the pen, for both teams, came in to play. I HATE they took this out. I like to see both pens, not just mine.

Huge disappointment and I hope they comment on why they did it.

Absolutely. Clueless why they thought this was a good idea.

Graphics, lighting, player models, uniforms, all look good.

          But I will say that:

Sometimes to uniforms look too skin tight.

And some players just look too jacked. Like especially when batting, some dudes chests are just really protruding out like they're body builders. Seems fixable .

This! Wasn't sure if I was wrong, but at least if I'm, I'm not alone.

Just recreated Frank Thomas to start RTTS at 1B. The guy not only look he's a monster, but there's no way you can put anything inside his uni without it exploding.

People in High School are so tiny overall that just standing at 1B, is like watching Shaq and Kevin Hart! ;-)

It’s a good theory, but, even generic coaches don’t wear jackets, coaching their respective bases . But, who knows. 🤷🏻*♂️

Paul Goldschmidt looks like he’s built like Hulk Hogan when he’s batting.

Ok,scratch that, I thought all fictional coaches wore jackets. Maybe it was just fake hitting and pitching coaches, not base coaches.

Yes. I don’t have the game yet but I’ve been following someone’s franchise on YouTube and noticed it right away.

I've played 4-5 games with all different teams and EVERY 3rd base coach is wearing a jacket. Not just Atlanta.

All these decisions are forced to the devs by the lead producers/managers. There's no common logic behind them. If you ask them they will respond with something about resources blah blah. Downgrading the quality of products it's a common thing for 5yrs now everywhere not only in videogaming.

The "last 23 games" thing is a somewhat goofy measuring stick, but yeah, that's how it works. Any of those other storylines you pick from that screen will have its own accompanying stat screen and commentary. Pressing Start/Options skips it. League News is just one line blurbs similar to what appears on the ticker. Selecting a farm report will not advance the game right away, but brings up a similar screen relevant to that prospect.

If that gets muted due to DMCA, then it had a commentary dialogue from Boog and Singleton describing what was shown on screen about Brown.
Wow that actually looks great! They really should of hyped this up more before release

We all need to face it. The shows customer base is a loyal one. Especially here. SDS knows they are not going to lose any business by taking quality of life things away. So why not allocate resources elsewhere to attract new younger fans. The unfortunate thing with baseball is that your either a fan of the sport or your not. I know MLB has been trying to bring in younger fans to various degrees of success. Baseball and baseball games are just never going to be an international sensation like Fortnite. In my opinion Fortnite’s success is what is directly leading to the downfall of the gaming industrial in general. The game was such a huge success with so much many being spent on it, that studio execs see those numbers and consider anything else a failure. “Why can’t we sell as many games as Fortnite”?. Thats why you are getting goofier things in all sports games now like emotes and goofy dances. Have you seen COD lately? It’s a bunch of people riding around on unicorns sporting purple Mohawks and shooting “laser” guns at each other. The show has probably gotten to a point of diminishing returns. I imagine sales probably hover around the same level year to year with varying increases and decreases

The decisions are also based on what features are used vs what isn’t. That can be driven by people skipping or not knowing about features that exist as well, so they just take them out.

Seeing the bullpen warm up is cool and I’m not happy they took it out, but most people didn’t care about it and just were in that screen to start warming up pitchers and selecting them, so the screen was gone through very fast. Similar to how they removed a lot of the dead time between pitches on Broadcast setting because while a few people liked to let them game play out closer to real life, most people just moved along to the next pitch (even on Broadcast).
