I noticed this too. It seems to be R2+R3 and it seems you have to do it quickly between pitches.

I like what I see so far but man I wish one year they would let you take more than the 40-man to spring training. Sucks to not be able to use top prospects during it.

Not a fan of the no doubt homerun cam.

It seems they really went hard on arcade vibe... that's a bummer

Really? Some previews I watched didn't indicate that
The player models are a big improvement IMO. They look a little weird in a few stances but look more up to date than the previous years.

They just show the face scans like they would when a guy gets traded. I’m guessing they wanted consistency since half the fans want scans to be shown so it’s no different than the CAP faces/traded player faces.

It’s honestly a 50/50 thing because half want portraits and the other half don’t, so it’s a no win situation.

One game sample size so there is no way it can be signal BUT the fact that it did happen is encouraging to me. Just wanted to share that experience on the heels of the Gil Interview.

So we don’t have to do the fantasy draft trick to get the scans now?

Nope, everyone is a scan/in game face.

And thank you for proving my 50/50 ratio as being accurate.

They might not be in, but not all legends get revealed right away. They are going to continue to add in cards throughout the year.

I've played parts of a few games so the sample size is really small, but it seems Exit velocities have been toned down off the bat, this is a good thing imo.

Tested a few trade ideas and it does seem harder to make trades and take advantage of the CPU poor logic. Definitely feels improved.

Does anyone use pinpoint pitching vs the CPU? If so do you feel the cpu batters are improved ?

Hopefully they are added back in…just caught me off guard after reading the OS article that said they were all returning

I'm curious on this as well. I prefer pinpoint pitching but last year dominated the CPU way too much using it, so I went back to Meter where I was getting results more inline with reality.
