Absolutely insane to me that they still haven’t fixed the out of town scoreboard in left field.

      Did they update Carlos Mendoza?

For all the OSers you got to see and play this in person yourself. All the ones saying graphics, player models etc haven't been changed or looks exactly the same the last 10 years. Well I've given them a hard time myself in that area, but this game on my setup is smooth as butter and you can definitely see the changes in uniforms, player models physique. The game really does feels different and everything pops and is crystal clear. I can't express enough about the QOL changes.

The settings/menu area is different and going to take some getting use to and some other menu or quick access but I'm loving all the changes. Wind is still not in online play and that sucks but I'll deal with it because this is the year of baseball and the best one yet they made.

Optimization for PS5 Pro with the PSSR upscaling? Hope so otherwise why sell a $700 mid cycle refresh.

I came across this Decision timer for manager mode. 2, 4, 6 seconds, or off are the options. MoM players might be happy to see something new for them. I'm going to have to test that out and see what it does because it is interesting.

I also noticed we can now turn off the confidence and energy bars separately without having to turn off the entire pitch selection. This is one of those quality of life things that may be overlooked.
Something that I have not seen in any of the videos posted online that has been in the game for the past few editions is your fielder's last name shown (along with the circle). Does anyone know if there is still an option to indicate their last name?

Bummed that there doesn’t appear to be a defensive lineup screen again this year.

I absolutely hate the new no doubt homerun cut scenes/sequences this year. They just quickly take you out of the “simulation” and into an “arcade game” feeling, especially with the distance automatically popping up. So wish it could be turned off or disabled when using broadcast presentation….ugh

Wow. Defensive lineup screen seems like it should be a given in every edition. Did not realize it wasn't in last year's game.

Kinda of sucks the Yankees no longer have a spring training uniform option… they have the hats but no dark jersey

So my first game I play the opener 4-0 cruising and in the 8th mookie makes a error cubs put on 4 but I win 7-4 love the way it plays

Explain though is this a bug? Error happened on lead off 0 out

No more errors happen how does Yates give up 4 unearned runs?? Shouldn’t it be 3?? Phillips came in gave up 2 of those runs Yates hat put on base

Pretty sure 3 of those runs should have been earned so no dodger pitcher gave up a earned run from 1 error lol makes no sense

                  My current setup

PS5 SLIM not hooked up to the PS5 PRO yet.
                  LG 65 inch C1 OLED.
Last year I ordered a specific 4K HDMI some say they dont matter but I went from 2160 to 3480 etc somehow and still shows that on the PS5 SLIM.

Anyways MLB 25 looks way more sharper and like I said before you will definitely notice all those things on this kinda setup I have and your base PS5 if u got this kind of or better display. I can't imagine how much better it could be on PS5 PRO I know game has no enhancements but that system still will upscale it. Just the specs of that system alone will make it run extremely flawless, but seriously guys what I witness on the PS5 SLIM is going to please a lot of folks. Now is it jaw dropping like N64 to dreamcast was? no but you will definitely will see and notice a leap from previous show games. At first I was wait a second is altuve skinny but it was my first look/glance and how they changed the style/psychique of all the players now.

Onto some gameplay CPU was taking pitches that were strikes default hall of fame not sure if that's a good or bad thing but for me nice to see there trying to take pitches not swinging at everything just hope it doesn't become a habit and become "punchout city".

We don’t get to see pitchers warming up in the bullpen anymore. Minor thing overall, but it seems like they’ve removed or changed several “minor things” and it’s lessened the overall quality of the presentation and gameplay.

Edit: I should add that I’m talking about when you enter your bullpen view when pitching. Just brings up the list of your pitchers against a dark backdrop. No warming up view.

the first error run is unearned. there may have been 2 outs with the other 3 runs because without the error its 3 outs no runs.

Do you mean during the pregame intro? I regularly use the in-game one by pressing the right thumb stick to check out the OF arms, but I suppose a pre-game or 1st inning one built into the presentation would be cool too.

It says SET THE DESIRED VIEWING ANGLE WHILE PITCHING.

                            Anybody figured out how?
