I thunk the issue is Play Now and Home Run Derby. If EA will quit supporting those two modes, Diamond Dynasty could really be something special.

So I don't play MtO. I tried it when it came out. But it seems to me that it gets very little directly added to it. And I know it just turns into franchise mode after year 1 anyway. Or so I believe it does.

Franchise gets more added to it than MtO it seems. Plus things like budgets and trade logic would fit into both anyway.

I see no issue with having MtO in the game. It introduces more players to a franchise type mode and becomes that mode.

We will never see everything on the front page added. But we need to look at it from the perspective that they want feedback from their franchise fans and want to improve the game.

      Roster expansion first. Cough cough*

On that survey which there is a list of items the "community" has apparently asked for.

I'm pointing out despite some on this forum denying it that March to October is being developed by franchise developers. Therefore some things on that list won't happen because franchise developer time is being spent on March to October - something that was previously denied by the usual suspect.

        Do you comprehend?

IMHO March to October and storylines should be lumped together and let March to October drain developer resources from storylines. Neither are original modes to the game. Lump all the add-on modes together so Franchise can be improved.
All I want to know is how you know all this as fact. Not trying to argue but just curious how you have this inside information since it would be extremely helpful in giving them a response if you have inside connections to SDS.

I would like to as well. He continually states it as a fact and without any proof of that being a fact it would be a continued violation of one of the main bullets of the TOS.

I look at the official website. Where is March to October listed? Franchise.

Your buddy previously asserted pitcher stamina had no impact on the manager pulling the starting pitcher.

In the game itself it explains pitcher stamina negatively impacts attributes at 25% and gets progressively worse as stamina decreases.

Do you need me to post that too?

I get my information from the developers.

One exception is the deep dive I did into scouting where I cracked the code and figured out how to get exact player ratings for fully scouted players. Do you want that information? I've posted it before and I'm the only one who broke that information. I posted it to youtubers who were posting scouting videos and they didn't know it until then but agreed it worked. Do you want it or prefer to remain in the dark?

So you cracked the code? Isn’t that cheating?
You know like messing with sliders, player attributes or taking a trade 1 player for 3.

Thanks for the info. But still a little confused. You say you get the information from the website, but then say you get your information from the developers. Do you have a direct developer contact giving you this information or are you saying you are taking the information posted on the website and translating it on your own to say that it’s what the developers are saying? My point here is that you are stating things as fact like “they are wasting developer resources on M2O” when if you don’t have a direct contact, you have absolutely no idea if that’s true. Is M2O treated under the same umbrella as Franchise? Possibly and I wouldn’t be surprised if it is. But if you aren’t getting the information from someone directly at SDS, then it’s just an assumption and shouldn’t be stated as if you know it to be true when you don’t.

As for scouting, I personally like to keep it random and like the fact that some players pan out and some don’t. Same way that you feel like it’s cheating to adjust attributes (which I partially agree with), I feel that finding out how to always scout sure thing prospects is also cheating because that’s not how it works in real life.

The difference here though is I’m not going to accuse you of “cheating the game” because at the end of the day, it’s a personal preference on how you like to play vs how I like to play. As long as you are enjoying the game, that’s all that matters even if it’s different from how I play.

Patch notes are likely written by a community manager and not any devs so placement of notes is going to be arbitrary. It can't be used to assess the composition of a team or assignments of a team. Fact is we don't know unless we work for SDS.

I took the time to do a deep dive. Wasn't difficult.

You sound guilty LOL. If you edit players, rob the cpu in trades, etc that's cheating.

I change players attributes all the time as I see fit. Both my team and cpu players.

I even give out injuries as I feel necessary.

If I’m cheating… so be it. I’m having fun with my baseball world. That is really all that matters.
