Glad you knocked that one out! I did same setup for the AL batting mission as I did for the NL batting mission (against Colorado, in Colorado, on rookie). Good luck!

Pretty unimpressed by that Hanley card, he gets no lift on the ball compared to live hanley or even the gold version.

I agree....he’s terrible. I specifically went after him for SS and he’s out of my line-up. Second card I worked for that’s awful. The Nolan Ryan Diamond is the other

Dude why you gotta bum me out before i even use him lol.

I was really impressed with the gold card. Hit a HR against a right handed pitcher. I think he’s only got like 30 power against them lol

Another example of a card that should be solid, but alas, hitting engine.

I really want to complete the Reds team epic as a fan of the team. I have all of their Live players (except Votto) and started the Hanigan, Cingrani, Stubbs, Heisey missions to get them as well.

Is there any other Reds player I am missing that I can get without tons of stubs or am I going to be scuffling with a pretty craptastic team to get the stats?

Haven't played in a while...kind of working on a few things. Got the Padres series mission done. Playing Dodgers on HOF....winning 6-3 going in to the 9th....4 straight doubles later....extras....in the 11 with 2 outs a swinging bunt in front of the plate...catcher runs over the ball and doesn't even attempt to pick it up....steals second by a mile....double...game over....soooo irritated....

Small sample size with Diamond Hanley but he hit a no doubt bomb in on the first pitch of my ranked seasons May debut. He got another solid hit as well. He could definitely play poorly from here on out but my initial impression was solid.

I would work on the new event, but the game decided that max confidence curveballs with perfect timing and placement should just randomly hang over the middle of the plate a bunch

I figured I'd try that Dodgers Hall of Fame game mission. I hadn't played on the difficulty at all yet, thought I'd get killed. Stacking my lineup with righties turned out the be a good move. Maybe I'll actually try Conquest Extreme now.

Took me two attempts, first game i lost 4-3 after giving up back to back to back home runs with Bauer in the 3rd inning. Next game won 1-0 in the 13th. HOF is tough but it's nowhere as hard as i thought it would be and from the handful of games I've played on HOF it's the most realistic games and results.

The thing with Hall of Fame and Legend is that you just need to be patient, and accept that the game will punish you extremely hard for making mistakes, as well as rolling bad RNG. That just gets more frustrating with Conquest extreme when you sometimes have very tight W/L windows for long stretches. I'd also say you have to be ready to pull your pitchers early and often. Don't be trying to get CG challenges

Ok. Working on the Corbin mission and I now 100% sure the CPU messes with you during missions.
Need. CG SO win with 8 Ks. I play the Tigers on rookie and have 12 K”s and a no hitter going into the top of the ninth and I’m 2 outs away when my 1st basemen boots an easy grounder to put a guy on first but the next batter hits into what should be an easy double play to end it but my SS, despite being mere feet from second base, throws the ball into the outfield. Runner comes around to score; Mission Failed

I get Corbin to pitch again and play the Tigers once more on rookie. Now my fielders won’t pick up routine balls....not errors but just pick the ball up and drop it for some reason....7 Times so far throughout the game but I manage to keep the shutout going until......top 9 nobody out. My pitcher has only thrown 87 pitches...but 4 perfect metered pitches in a row go inexplicably way out of the zone to walk the leadoff hitter. Next batter hits it to third and make it 8 balls now picked up and dropped by my team....no double play both runners safe. I strike out the next batter for Out #1 but the next batter hits a ground ball To shallow LF and guess what? My fielder cannot pick up the ball cleanly and the runner from second comes home; Mission Failed.

That was a controller throw folks...right across the room....9 balls picked up and dropped by various fielders in the same game....can they please patch this idiocy. No player would be in the majors if they picked up and dropped balls as often as happens in this game. So mad right now at both games and I refuse to believe it’s bad luck.....
