Also, sounds like Season 6 is going to be the infamous "rehash of old crap" program (based on their little Live Content video they posted today). It is what it is and I guess we'll see how it shakes-out; but it might be about time to shift solely back to franchise.

A lot of the old pack cards that are expensive might drop if they add a ton of packs to the forever program. I was going through looking at stuff and couldn't believe how expensive some of those cards were

Feels crazy if this program was it. I thought for sure there'd be another TA

Same here!! I couldn't believe that there's still players on the live series that cost a ton. Like why?

Just supply and demand. With the big collections available from day 1 of each season, people were locking them in with relatively small supply

God bless SDS man. Event, use any card you want, but max team overall is 85 LOL.

I can't even use a basic Mets theme team bc you also can't use cards that are under 75 overall.

Oh man...some of the Set 1 "premium pack" guys are crazy expensive or outright unavailable. I'm being extremely tactical right now in whom I buy for theme teams and so on...my "hope" is that whatever Season 6 is, it has tons of the old packs. It's even more vital if we truly do not get better versions of some of the legend cards via a Team Affinity or something.

While I'm sure SDS' content team wants to be working on MLB24, I think releasing Season 6 with nothing but a program of old rewards would be a very bad look. Give folks a nice, long TA to play through until April along with other stuff and I think we'll be fine.

Giving what we've seen over the last two weeks, and specifically with this event, I think it's mail-in season!

After not playing for several months there's so much for me to do. I've got plenty to keep me busy for the next several months. But I'm sure those that play through non stop from day 1 probably don't have much to do. So I can understand what you're saying.

I need only Jacob deGrom, Aaron Judge, Shohei, Trout and Betts and I will have completed by live series. Pretty cool. Also, not bad considering that 2022 was the first year I ever dabbled into DD and this year was the first I ever put in any serious time. I would be more along by now but I didn't realize that it was better to use your stubs to just buy the players you need and I spent way too much time wasting them on packs. Took me a while to learn that.

Same here on packs vs card buys. Although I also just find ripping packs enjoyable for its own sake, that became less of an issue as the S4 and S5 programs got more generous in terms of pack drops. Saved me the trouble of buying large packs of regulars. I did usually still buy up the Diamond Duos as they came out - helped with the uniform collections if nothing else.

Finished TA yesterday, now actually playing with my God Squad in the Classic Miniseason. Plus Ketel Marte and Billy The Kid to get some Extreme program credit.

Wagner is infuriating to use. His control is so bad that I basically need a miracle to get saves with him at All-Star difficulty. Will get to 10 with him eventually, but it’s going to be annoying.

Bench I currently have tatis, j roll, and freeman but not really sure on bench. Once I get acuna I'll drop jrod. I like the 99 speed defense in cf but I just can't hit wiht jrod for some reason...

Seager helped make the lineup not so right heavy.

I just unlocked ketel marte (ws) and Bryan Reynolds too but not sure where ill fit them. If I drop mookie then I won't lose the tier 3 boost replacing with Reynolds

Tmrw I'll just grind br but will likely just get to 60ish points. Then Wednesday I'm off for thanksgiving vacation for 5-6 days

I finally finished TA5 to get Belli and then started the BR program just to have something to grind for and got to 65 points after like 4 hours of playing so ill probably finish that off this week unless the new Finest program has Cardinals in it then ill probably hit that first then go back to BR to finish it up... If they give us 99 Willson Contreras then i will probably hit ranked real hard with my Cards theme team and see how high i can get in the ratings .

Ugh, got to 8 wins in br and of course got a flawless guy for the last game

Was down 2-0 and tied up in 2nd with a Santander hr. The guy quick pitched me when I was trying to check his bullpen and then sub my hitter. I tried a 2nd time and it was 0-2 so I just left Mateo and his 40 con 40 power in there. I got rattled.

He proceeds to get two bs late contact hits and then hits a routine double play that my 3rd baseman throws into the outfield then he proceeded to not swing at anything a mm off the plate.

Super frustrating game that I feel like I prob should've won had I not just beat myself repeatedly.

I can't even think of a time I've thrown the ball into the outfield and I had a Justin turner card at 3rd.

Anyway.. Yeah I lost
