I don't remember having to press anything in High Heat when in mom mode and one pitch mode.

We don't have one pitch mode in The Show.
I'll re-install HH2002 and check it out. I think I remember having to hit actually 2 keys to get a pitch(maybe two when a guy is on base?).

NP, I remember reading in the same post that all errors for USER controlled DEF have been improved. So, I am excited to see how this pans out.

The close up of players and such in the screenshots look great, but will we actully be seeing the players that close up in the game? For example, there was one of the Marlins player close up catching a ball aganist the wall at Turner Field. Does the real time presentation help give closer views?

I think those are only becasue they took them from replay and zoomed in.

That's a replay, trust me you don't want the players to be that close during actual gameplay.

If a team is wearing black uniforms, do they make the umpires wear the baby blue shirts? In 09 with the umps only wearing black shirts, if you wanted your team to wear black uniforms you could sometimes get your 2nd baseman and the 2nd base ump confused. I know this is nit picky and not much of an issue, but just thought I would ask.

I have one small request, concerning one particular in-game goal in RTTS. It can be fairly hard to get those training points early on. When you get the steal sign from the base coach, you get a good jump, and the batter at the plate hits the ball. If he flies out, you get a "failed" goal. Which I don't get. You did what you were told to do, and it was the batter's fault you didn't get the steal. Why do you lose points? Shouldn't it at least be a "goal cancelled" situation?

I know...it's a fairly minor complaint. But while there are all the other things mentioned here, and while the programmers are tweaking little things as they go, partly from feedback from this community, I thought it was worth mentioning.

I know what you mean, they did mention though that they worked on the goal logic, and other such factors. So I guess we have to wait and see what was addressed and what changes were made.

Anyone remember specifics about adjusting different colors on catchers gear, etc. What can you adjust and how many colors. Not a big deal, but just wondering about it.

Just about everything. Shin guards, straps, laces, primary color, trim, lots to choose from. You can make your catcher look like a rodeo clown if you want with all the variety of colors.

gloves, main color
laces
bat barrels
bat handles
bat tape
batting glove
wrist colors
knuckle colors (of the gloves)
elbow guard colors
shin guard colors
8 glasses, frame colors, lens colors
shoe colors
main body of shoe color
shoe tongue color
laces color
soles color
heel colors
knee save colors
protector color, trim, strap, leg guards

I can't remember exactly......but it's a LOT.

I think every piece of equipment that can be changed has 20(maybe 30?) colors.

Bats...one color or two tone....I'm pretty sure every color was available.(there was the regulars....pink....green...blue...red.....etc)

Gloves...I'm not sure but I think it's three pieces.

Cleats......I'm pretty sure it's five

Catchers gear....was a lot....I think the chest protector was broken up into pieces....the straps were separate I think....same for the shin guards.
