    Re: franchise length?

I don't have time to play every single game either but, I don't want shorter seasons because then you wouldn't have the chance to go after records and such. If this were a perfect world I would play every game but, given my schedule and every thing going on, I just don't have the time.

Here's how I play..... Usually, I will play every game the first month of the season (that way I have a decent statistical foundation). Then from then on out I will play five games per month (one with each starting pitcher). However, one thing I will do is go into every game and SIM to the 6th or 7th inning then intervene as, I see fit. Now does it suck that I have to SIM some games? Yes. I do feel like I miss something from each game. But, for me it's either play every game and maybe play one complete season or SIM some games and play multiple seasons. So, I choose to SIM.

Some other way's to play would be to play each game with the starting pitcher of your choice or play every game on a certain day (every Sunday game for example).

I did not see any. Does not mean they do not exist though.

        Re: franchise length?

I like to play all the games, madness to some but at the end of the day I like to feel that the statistics are mine.

However some options that may help are:

Play all Home games only or play all Road games only?

For less games, play the opener from each series? Or even just the final game of a series?

Maybe you could play just in division games?

Its difficult, but go with what you feel rewards you the most in; personal satisfaction of player performance/stats and team achievements.

Have they done anything with the fatigue model for pitchers? Relievers should tire faster but bounce back quicker than they have in the past imo.

I think we have to wait and see. I know reliever logic was worked on. Not sure if that included fatigue though.

This may have been answered already but I was wondering if they improved on stat tracking in Franchise Mode. I love looking at the stats and The Show never has enough for me. Are there more this year?

I'm wondering if outside of the 30 man control, are the budgets more suited to real-life? I know Knight said in his Franchise write-up that teams would make intelligent trades based on their budget, record, etc. (i.e. Salary Dump Trades, or trading a star for prospects before the deadline)

I like the 30 team control, but I would like to actually have to work and make smart trades, signings as the franchise rolls on, so that I don't have to take over and self-police.

                So anything said on this?

                  Re: franchise length?

What I do is play a game with my #1 starting pitcher, then sim 5 games which then allows you to use your #2 starter. I then sim another 5 games and it's #3 starter time and so on. It works out to about 27 games a season and you pitch with each of your starters about 5 times.

Knight said no same ones.....I'm disappointed too.

                      No sir.

Stat tracking is pretty much the same this year.

Did that add any new promotional days?
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

does anyone have an answer to how many innings you can insert music for? I know 7th inning, but how many others?

                          thanks,

I thought I saw there were 3 slots for inning specific music.

thanks Nem..just chatting with Brett_OS and he thinks its for any inning and even all 9!!
                              hmm..
also asked about why the cheer/jeers had to be recorded and not straight mp3 drops and he's going to ask.

Yes...three...and you can choose...start or middle of inning(I don't think it was end of inning...but I may be wrong).
