I do not ever remember seeing the catcher throw to first after a K. I see the throw to third.

I'll have to take a closer look for this when real baseball starts up again.

It was a close connection so the gameplay experience was just like offline. The biggest thing I noticed was that the check swings were just as responsive online and you could now hit and run.

There are a lot of opinions on how to set up the ps3. Some swear by having it wired but to tell you the truth my set up is wireless and I have zero problems.

All we have is some lucky folks that played a non complete version..Its not about censorship, its more use your head when talking about an unfinished project thats still being tweeked. They make the wrong statement and everyone freaks out before the game is released and you'll have whats happening to another franchise. I love the info guys but this is the curse..thanks fellas

I have watched literally thousands of baseball games in my lifetime on the tele and several hundred in real life. I can't remember ever seeing a catcher throw to first after a K. I am not saying that it doesn't happen, just that it has never happened in my recollection.

To save this from going further...let me clarify...although the CD guys seemed to understand what I was asking.

My question, was asking basically if there was anything they were expecting to be better than it was. Or something they thought going in would be different, but was not.

Asking for things that they thought could be improved would turn this quickly into a Wishlist Thread, as Jim stated, which wasn't the intention of my question.

Pared mentioned sig styles, bcruise mentioned commentary, and Jim saw the game as he expected to see the game. That was what I was asking. Thanks for the responses gentlemen.

For me, the biggest surprise(in a positive way) from the focus test to Community Day was the throwing meter. I was not expecting any changes to be honest.

I was also expecting commentary to be a little different as far as certain lines. I thought some would have been taken out because they have been ridden to death so to speak. It is time for an interactive commentary booth where they converse with one another.

I have never seen any pro catchers throw to 1st after a K, most of the time the 1st baseman isnt even involved in throwing the ball around, if it is done, its not done much, purely superstitious! you guys all know how superstitious us baseball folks are.

What do you mean by signature style? I'm sure it's defined differently from person to person. Walk up animations to the plate, step out the box routines in the batters box, homerun follow throughs, batting stances, pitching deliveries, personal traits like Joba's crazy fist pump antics and Jeter's backhand jump throw from deep short? I would like to know what part of "signature styles" you and SCEA talked about. If you could elaborate I'd appreciate it. It seems we share the same passion of seeing players act like their true likeness.
