We knew eachother so we didn't get matched up. Before we played the game said "Great". The connection played awesome for two innings and then went south. We went through 4 innings until it locked up so I doubt it's a router. My internet has been connected the entire time.

No, what I meant was a router/switch out there on the internet somewhere between you guys. Connections go through so many hops that all it takes is one quick failure from a company somewhere to ruin an otherwise good connection.

What about check swings? I'm anticipating that if check swings are finally possible online that it will be a very different game this year.

Also, anyone tried a hit and run?

Yeah, I'm curious about check swings too. It would be awesome if they work this year.

Just had an epic game with Brett_OS I was up 3-1 going into the top of the 9th and I blew it. We went back and fourth and somehow he forced 3 double plays in the last 4 innings to keep the game going. I finally scored in the bottom of the 14th inning I believe game was super smooth.

I played my first game last night against a buddy of mine and I was very impressed. We were able to check swing and hit and runs worked flawlessly (when executed properly). I did notice that the timing for batting is different online than it is offline. It is not bad just a tad bit late so you can sit on pitches more which in return helps you as a hitter.

We played Cubs vs Dodgers and Big Z was tough to hit. We played on HoF settings without strike zone, hot zones, guess pitch, ect. The score ended up 2-0 Cubs off of a Marlon Byrd and Aramis Ramirez HR. Other than that there was only 15 hits combined for both teams. Game time took about 40 mins.

I also checked out some Online League stuff and was a lil disappointed. There is not the option to have CPU controlled teams. I was hoping that we could have 30 teams and fill them with guys if needed. The league options do seem nice though. You can choose how many games in a series, how many times you play a series in your division and non-divison. You can also choose how many make the playoffs. So we will make due with the settings and put together a solid league.

A couple things that I question and will be labbing tonight to find out is if players progress/regress at the end of the season. My thoughts are that they do not because we cannot draft rookies. Also I would like to know if you can have custom rosters. I will be looking into these things.

Online so far is really smooth played one game, lost 6-1.

Im in another game top of the 6th im finally getting to santana, Upton with a big rbi doubler i take the lead 3-2.

and he goes to intellionally walk reynolds. And the game freezes i dont know if it was on his end or what but it sucked.

Anyways online is pretty darn good so far

Played my first online game early this morning. No problems last year and none this game either as expected. The first thing that jumps out at me for online this year is I'm able to see the pitch better. I could follow the ball all the way thru instead of it kind of disappearing at the end last year (to my eyes). It seems to be a little more fluid/smoother this year too.

Didn't see the online mic indicator, where is it supposed to be?

Saw errors by fielders that you would never see last year.. this is a good thing.

Definitely can score on singles from 2B now

Not sure I like the rating system yet.. Last year I was able to scout players by what was said left in comments area. I wish they would have left that in. A guy can still play cheesy and get a good sportsmanship rating methinks but not sure about that yet?

Just played two games online and they were smooth as can be. A shutter here and there but that is to be expected. I played one game with a friend and we both had mics and those worked great also. I love how the button got remapped to the down directional button.

BRAVO SCEA!! Great online experience so far.

One question. Would online play be affected if someone had there TV set at 1080p instead of 780p? I would imagine it would but was just trying to get confirmation. I think a lot of people have a 1080p TV and forget to change it 720p for the Show.
