Which makes sense, because I frequent a lot of AA and AAA games, and sometimes Cape Cod League ... and man the play is very sloppy and a lot of poor decision making. Especially at the AA level.

Only those key prospects stand out and look major league when fielding, while others you can tell are really rough around the edges, and not quite there. Some games are hard to sit through cause of it, but is still fun to be there none the less.

Analog fielding is frustrating me. It seems like accuracy is merely a crap shoot. The rest of the game is good though. Slowly, but surely getting down the hitting.

Double plays are tough for me. Always seem to over throw the guy covering the bag.

My analog fielding is set to all star and I'm loving it.

I have to know who can do what and with whom can I try to gun the ball and with whom do I need to lay off.

I like having a poor fielder make a mistake, not an error, just a mistake.

          Defensive substitutions seem to matter.

Who will be the first of us to learn the hard way?

Ones who use TB and leave Man-Ram and Damon in the outfield in late tie or one run games.

How do u climb the wall to rob a HR while using analog fielding? My guy never climbs, he just preloads his throw.

Definitely not a crap shoot. In my ten games so far, plus the 20+ I played of the demo (all on All-Star difficulty), I have yet to throw an error. Just gotta make sure your stick movements are true.

Hold towards the wall with the left stick, and press R1.

Same as last year, R1... R2 to dive.

Very true. I was having all kinds of trouble in the demo with analog fielding, then something clicked, and I've been doing great so far on HOF.

That only "jumps" in front of the wall. Last year you could climb the wall and reach over when you would move the R stick at the same time.

Just takes practice. Also if you are not holding your controller "true" the angles will be off on the throws, when you think mentally you are throwing where you need to be.

So throwing isn't exactly at the arrows but depending were you are defensively?

No, the fielding isn't camera relative or anything like that. For example, throwing to second base will always be exactly straight up.

I like the look of the broadcast view for fielding but I find it's hard to see the ball when in play leading to botched plays. I find medium is better as it tracks the ball and I can focus better to field it.
