For those of you having trouble getting enough BB:

Did anyone try raising their Plate Vision and Plate Discipline attributes yet?
I know that in RttS you alone are responsible for what you are swinging at.

But maybe these attributes help affect how Pitchers are approaching you in an AB?!

In previous years, that has never been the case. However, I tested this theory out and it appears that it does affect the pitcher's ability (or inability) to throw strikes. I've been getting more walks lately after increasing the disc and vis.

Reason I ask this is, I didn´t do it yet but I´m planning to do so today. I´m almost exclusively getting Strikes thrown at me so I was wondering about these attributes.

I finally started my RTTS last night. I created former Auburn baseball star that was drafted by the Orioles last year, Trent Mummey (the announcers call him Trent Money since his last name isn't in, works for me lol). He's a speedy OF, high on the defensive side, middle ways between contact and power. I only got to play about the first 2-3 weeks of the season last night, but I'm batting around .290 with 5 RBI and 3 SB. I'm the leadoff guy for my team and in my first start with them I tripled twice and doubled. Haven't tripled since though.

I went with the low stamina dominant pitcher in the closing spot. Working with Splitter(89) Fastball(94) and a change(80). Had a curve for a while but dropped it because some of the pitching workouts are just stupid. Played 3 seasons now and am the closer for AAA Phillies. Have about 4 messages now saying the 40 man is full but i belong at the Major level lol, Also played in both the All Star game and represented the World team in the World vs USA Game.

Well, my SP, after first year splitting time between AA and AAA for the Cubs, started for AAA in year 2. They offered me 1 million dollar one year contract! So after negotiating I got them to bite on 1.2 mil. Played four games for AAA then got called up to MLB.

(2B/SS A's farm system) Finally starting to get the hang of AAA pitching. Went opposite field on a knuckle ball for my first AAA HR. So far after about 2.5 weeks in AAA I'm hitting .284 1 HR 8 RBI. I'm still assuming I'll be sent back down after the normal AAA 2nd baseman comes back from injury in about a week. Ahhh the trials and tribulations of a minor league ballplayer

My third baseman got promoted near the end of June. I hit a HR in the AA All star game. I think the key to playing in the minor league games is to press play when you get to the day of the game, not press play next appearance. I got promoted because of an injury, but I'll take it. I was moved to AAA bench however. I'm seeing a lot of pitchers at AAA with 95+ level fastballs. One of them threw a 100 MPH fastball.I tried only playing batting, and the games go a lot faster. I think I get more points simming fielding then I got playing them.

This game does not make sense to me sometimes. Playing my Tigers SS right now in AA.

Just layed down a bunt with 1 out and a guy on third. I get the RBI and am safe at first yet it is only an ok AB? Really? Yet a two pitch line drive for an out is a good at bat?
