I can't work a walk to save my life, not yet at least. Last season with the classic batting I would be able to work a walk maybe once every few games. In this years version my plate vision isn't up to par yet so I'm swinging on borderline pitches.

I feel your pain, sometimes my hands and brain don't talk to one another. In my head I'm saying don't swing but my thumb hits the button anyway. It's like some sort of reflex.

Im seeing the same thing..im just about at the end of my second year in RTTS and already im seeing a ton of upper level guys on different teams. pujols and torii hunter are on the blue jays, prince fielder is in baltimore, krod is in tampa, wainwright is on the yankees, david wright and jayson werth are on the dodgers.....just to name a few. definitely seems a bit unrealistic, to say the least

That's really terrible. Especially since it was so prevalent in last year's game too. You'd think that'd be one issue they'd put at the top of their priority list.

I'm not a great hitter by any means, but I'm a lot better this year with working the count. The contact swing is extremely useful for hitting with 2 strikes fouling off those close pitches until hopefully the pitcher misses something middle of the plate. Getting plate vision and disipline stronger is very important as well. Huge power numbers are great, but ya can't hit them out if you can't make contact Love this game!!

Can someone explain to me the training meters in RTTS?

The blue and yellow meters, what do they mean? When I select an area to train, it increases the blue, but I'm not sure what I am doing. Thanks in advance.

The yellow is your overall progress with your skill. The blue is like an exp bar for that skill. Once the blue(stabilized) or orange(decreasing) reaches the the end it will go up a point, if the orange bar reaches the beginning the skill will go down a point. Just make sure you train each skill at least once every 6 weeks to keep them stable. Hope I was able to explain that easily enough lol.

Made a 6'3 LHP. Got drafted by the Brewers. Started in Bullpen, worked my way to starter. Got traded to the Blue Jays. Started the Minor League all star game. Finished the season with most wins, most shutouts and most Complete games.
Got promoted to AAA in the off season.

                        AA- 15-7 2.46 ERA 133 Strikeouts
                        AAA-[3 Starts in] 1-2 9.53 ERA

My first game, my team had 4 errors. So far im really struggling. My last game, i gave up 5 homeruns with 8 runs. I really hate this team lol. They arent making it very easy for me. They are almost dead last in all categories.

I really hate the umps and bad calls. I would say at least 50 strikes were called balls. It gets annoying.

I would rate the game 6/10.

If you don't make contact and they are safe at second, they steal 3rd. It happens every time for me too.

Same here. I just pray I foul it off, or if the guy is fast, I'll just let him steal and hope I can make contact on the 2nd pitch when he tries taking 3rd.

Lots wrong with the hit and runs. First of all, it's always on a 0-0 pitch. That almost never happens. Then there's obviously the steal issue. The hit and run when you're baserunning is just a trainwreck. While on base, I completely ignore it at this point because only bad things happen. When at the plate, I just roll my eyes and make the best of it.

EDIT: Another thought. Is anyone else seeing a serious lack of rain games? I have seen none in two seasons. I finally got a rain event late in season 2 - in batting training.

do we have to block pitches this year? sorry I don't have the game yet and was wondering if this was added and how we would do it.
