ign doesn't know what its talking about. I went from easily getting thrown out at 1st and never getting steals to making turning double plays on me tough ansld steals being possible. IT DOES MATTER

            One question for you guys:

Does it make a difference how many points AT ONCE I put into one category (like Power L/R)?

I´m now always putting the minimum 40 points into one category and I wondered if it matters if I put like 150 points into Power. Do I progress faster that way?

            Thanks in advance.

So what walk up music do you use? Homerun music?... For your RTTS guy?

Homerun music: I use the Texas Rangers music. Its the song that plays in The Natural when he hits the HR at the end of the movie.

              Walkup music:

              1. Too Human than Human. I start it after the moaning has wrapped up.

              2. Black & Yellow - "Cause everything i do i do Biiiig" Great line from the song.

              3. Rage Against the Machine's lead singer (Zach) sing my 3rd song... It was a solo project he did with DJ Shadow... Having a hard time remembering the name of the song... March of Death. Great bass over the stadium loud speakers just as I step in the box.

Mid-June, 2014 season where I'm starting at 3rd base for the Tigers. I'm doing far better than I expected to do as I struggled big time in AAA the first season. Off the top of my head, I'm hovering around .280, 15 HR, 40-45 RBIs so far.

I do want to get traded after my 5th year with the Tigers (I think my contract runs through 6 years with the club). It'll let me see if the team rebounds from terrible years. Sitting around the .500 mark so its not like years past while I was playing in the minors where they were bombing. Its strange seeing how vastly different teams are through FA and trades over the years

I don´t think I made myself clear. I know that the more points I put into one category, the more my player progresses.

                    My question is:

Is there a difference in progression between putting for example 3x 40 points (the minimum) in Power R

                    and

putting 120 points at once (which equals 3x40 points) into Power R?

                    Sorry if that´s confusing !

I can't believe reading through this of the lack of people that are going through as a closer. I hate in baseball games having to sim so many games just to get everything in. Now as a closer I can go through games and season's fast. There is just something so cool about entering the game with a 1 run lead in the bottom of the 9th and blowing gas by people at 96 mph.

No. No matter what, 120 pts are going in there.

I finally became a AA starter in the Phillies farm club. i am not doing bad, but I am not doing great either. Is it just me or is it when you hit a slump you hit a slump? It seems once I got the Draw a walk goal I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. I was letting early count stikes go and took a lot of 3rd call stikes. I hate it when they tie the strikeouts and walks goal together because I tend to strike out looking more when I am trying to get a walk. I do have a gripe that just bugs me about this mode. My manager took my stealing green light away, but I keep getting hit and run call from my 3rd base coach, well I take off and the batter misses and I steal or get out. Then after the game my manager benches me and tells me I do not have a green light. I finally had to start ignoring the hit and run. Somehow this does not need to be tied together, it really frustrates me. Other than that I am hooked, I think I played for 5 hours straight yesterday.

The Achievement Goals are difficult and demanding this year.

                            Take this very common example:

                            Improve Bunting
                            Improve Durability

                            Get 1.000 fielding percentage
                            Get 50 Total bases

Ok, so the first two are easy enough. Even though I am a slugging 2B with more homeruns and power than anyone on my team, the game consistently tells me to improve my bunting skill. Ok, fine. Next I improve durability. Check.

You need more than 50% in your Achievement Goals to get a positive response from your coach.

If I make 1 throwing error and the rest is absolutely flawless, I will not get my 1.000 fielding percentage. So therefore, I failed. Therefore, I MUST complete my "Get 50 total bases" goal. Let's say I hit 49. I therefore complete only 2 of 4 goals, I fail, and I get benched for an entire month.

Not fair at all. The logic is ruthless.

BTW, I hope I'm missing something. I thought this game was going to have better stat splits. Is there a way for me to find out what my AVG is in all different pitch count scenarios?

Is there anyway to turn off trades in RTTS? I know it's not realistic but I hate that I spent all this time in the Rangers minors and right when I'm about to get called up they trade me and Moreland to the Cardinals for Pujols. I have tried to go back a few saves to see if I can prevent it but no matter what it always happens. SUCKS.

I'm doing well for the Cardinals in the Majors now... like the ballpark... like the history... but they are horrible in year 3. No light at the end of the tunnel for all the work I put in.

If you can not turn them off can you request a trade for a certain team?

No way to turn trades off. You can request a trade in the Interactions screen or ask to be removed from the trade block, but not for a certain team.Next time around check the trade block in June and July, and if you see you're on the trade block, interact with your manager to be removed from it.
