I'm a firm believer in "you bought the game so you have every right to alter it so you can enjoy as you see fit" so based on what you have, you could probably up your solid hits slider (about 3 or 4 taps to the right, keep contact and power the same) and maybe a tab down on pitch speed.

Anyone have any tips on how to get traded ? preferably fast,
Starting my 2nd MLB season with the Padres for the past 3 seasons Ive asked to be traded every chance and theres even a better player at my position on the Pads (camrin maybin) but they wont let me go.

I pass most Advancement goals should I just ignore those? I dont want to get benched though and lose oppertunities to build up my career stats but I am only 21 so I guess I could... anyone try that yet? will ignoring Goals than requesting a trade work?

I finally got all my rating for my SS to A's(90 +). I simmed ahead to see what sort of offer I would get but I only got 9 million in arbitration. I also participated in Home Run Derby but lost to Kendry Morales. Do you get points if you win it. I'll probably lose the MVP this year to Pujols.

I'm currently in Spring Training of year 2014. Last year I spent 5/6 months in the Majors with the Detriot Tigers. I did terrible though. I batted .229 with 10 HR's and 29 RBI's. I struck out too many times.

This year I'm going to try to be more patient at the plate. Hopefully it works out. In 2011 and 2012 in the minor leagues I batted .337 and .287 and would like to get near those numbers again. I signed a 2 year contract in the offseason and I'm the starting second baseman for Detriot. Even though I'm struggling this game is highly addictive.

Finally picked up the game Friday and have two RTTS going right now.

First, I made myself as a 3B and got drafted by the Yankees (good luck staying there and getting any MLB action in the next few years lol). Same team that drafted my LF last year, he went on to be a monster hitter. Mostly power hitting, some speed (leg out those triples in case I ever in a situation for a cycle lol), and better fielder then arm strength. Only a few weeks in but my first at bat, first pitch in AA was a homer. But so far it's a double edge sword, he's got some power but get get k'd a little more too. Been focusing on my other player lately since pitchers play less often and get more points, so it's easier to progress more without simming too much.

My other player, Ricky Vaughn, is a SP with more velocity then control and was drafted by the TB Rays. Been playing mostly him, simmed a till he was a starter (month 2), pitched back to back shutouts then a 1 run 8 inning performance. Got called up to AAA and also made the futures game (came in for one inning and gave up 3 runs ). Put back into relief duty for a few more weeks, not is back in the starting rotation. Can't wait for his first call up and relief appearance, got Wild Thing ready to play as his intro lol. Hopefully I can get him traded to the Indians at some point (choose to start him in draft versus Indians in hopes I can get up to MLB quicker).

Thinking about doing a CP too, was going to make Vaughn a closer but figured I'd wait until I get better at pitching before I start one. Probably remake Vaughn, or maybe some massive giant with a scary handlebar stash.

About to start a RTTS using the latest OSFM rosters. I always make a lefty with a nasty cutter as the first pitch, slow slider, popping fastball, and circle change...hope I do as well as I did the previous games.

Finished up my 6th year of MLB service, was an all star 5 of the 6 years (didn't make it one year because of a broken arm). Go into the off season as a free agent, guess what? No contract offers! What's up with that.

So...I did that hairdryer trick on my YLOD PS3, and saved all my stuff. I don't want to send it in yet, though, because it is working, and I don't get my money back if I send it in and there's nothing wrong with it. I left it on for 24 hours, trying to get it to re-break so I could send it in, and it still worked fine...

So I think I'm going to continue my RTTS tonight, lol. We'll see how it goes.

So I've got 3 RTTS players going. A now dominating ace pitcher on the Cubs (ugh...), a five-tool left-fielder now on the Royals, and my newest player being a small all-speed all-field all-contact outfielder playing for something called the Rockhounds in my first year in AA. All three I chose to start with the Yankees, and all three times got traded away in very dumb deals.

The first two I'm now highly successful and yada-yada.
The last one though is getting annoying. First Yankees trade me straight up for Hideki Matsui for some reason to the Athletics, who place my in their AA team. I now go from being the league-leading hitter playing 5-6 times a week to being a "AA Starter" playing 3-4 times a week. Also, at some point pitchers stopped throwing me balls. I've even turned CPU pitcher strikes down to 0 after this started happening. Can't get a walk. I don't know what attribute on my players I increased that did this, but this is insane. I can barely get about 1 walk per week now. Even if I get to 3-0 the pitcher will then follow with a barage of strikes. Even when I see one of those wild low BB/9 pitchers, same thing. Strike-strike-strike, or get to 3-0 or 2-0 and then turn into Greg Maddux. My OBP is now plummeting. I'm still having long at bats sometimes, but those are just off fouling off and pulling foul strikes. Anybody else experience this?

What happened? If nothing, don't feel bad. It looks like a lot of people didn't get "called up" as expected.

I got NL ROTY as a Padres 2B over the weekend. Called up August 2013, had a good 2014 season. Dumb luck mostly.

Has anyone complained to SCEA about the busted goal of having a .990 fielding percentage for the advancement period? What that basically means is you can't make any errors. If you have 1 error, you then have to have 99 more perfect chances (putout or assist) to get that percentage, and most positions on the field have no shot at getting that many fielding chances in a typical advancement period. 1B or C would be the only ones, maybe SS/2B in a long period (the 6 or 8 series long ones). 6 series would be 18 to 24 games (seems like most of the minors play 4 game series), and in 25 games, a middle infielder with good range would probably get 100 chances.

No way my outfielder (playing mostly LF at the moment for his AA team) has a shot at 100 chances. Although, in the same game he made his first error of the period (and 3rd of the season), he threw a guy out at the plate for his first assist of the season!

And error-prone positions like SS or 3B, they have little chance at a .990 over any stretch of time.
