Just had the first-ever Perfect Game thrown against me...

By Michael Pineda and the Yankees in a Spring Training game. 27 up 27 down. First time I have EVER been Perfect Gamed by a computer game.

Yanks score two in the top of the 2nd on a bases loaded error by Aviles at shortstop.

This game is great. Period. From the sounds to the ball physics to the stances to the way the pitcher whips his arm, everything is spot on this year. I've only played a few games and I can already tell this is one of the best sports games I've ever played. Once some rosters come out this game will be even better.

De Aza misplays a ball for a 3-run error in the 2nd inning in my exhibition game vs. TB. I used auto-fielding, so it wasn't user-generated error...

As Danks walked next two guys (that was user error), I really got that wheels-falling-off feeling, and it was awesome! Pulse pitching is really a nice addition, and one I'll keep trying.

Dunn hits a bomb off Price in the bottom half of the 2nd, and singles in the 4th. Let's hope that's a sign of things to come for the Sox this year.

I fast-forwarded the last 4 innings & ended up losing 13-1, so maybe it really is a sign for the Sox in '12.

Everything about the game seems so diff. New graphics look cool, even music seems cool(though I'm still replacing it with sounds of the show lol).

7th inning thing is back! I changed my pitcher, and suddenly I gave up 2 back to back home runs and a base hit with my already warmed up reliever.

Haven't been able to hit good yet, maybe its cause of sliders probably because I didn't touch them yet, and I know I've really adjusted the sliders in MLB11(probably with pitch speed too).

So many foul balls though for both teams. The AI pitcher still averages just over 10 pitches per inning and I average alot more now due to the increase amount of balls I've thrown because of pulse pitching(haven't walked anyone yet though)

Anyone else notice in franchise and season modes the games times are all 7PM game during the week and on the weekend its 1PM games?

Ugh... is this error really back??? They just fixed this a couple years ago... That makes me sad

EDIT: Added this info to the bugs thread.

They did patch the schedule specifically because all the Cubs games were at night. It was either 09 or 10, can't remember. Maybe they can do that again this year. Not sure why they don't just match the times on the real MLB schedule and call it a day, but oh well.

Also, starting to notice that the pitcher's hands go through their gloves, in the windup, in behind the pitcher views

1 Game in, I've seen 5 errors... 4 from my team, and 1 from my opponent.

It's not that the devs don't try to match the schedule... this is a bug, just like it was a couple years ago. Honestly, for all the times I stand up for, and praise this series, this REALLY bothers me. It was a known issue before, and someone sneaks through again? Something like this that is so easily seen, it's hard to fathom how it went unnoticed.

Guess I'll be waiting to start my franchise after all...

There probably was an injury to a catcher and they were trying to fill the position. I see Cahill traded often, one time I saw a similar trade with Cahill and others but for a RP. My feeling is the cpu values relief pitchers too high in trades and to an extent catchers when filling for an injury, but for the most part I love the franchise improvements.

I also saw Freeman and 2 others for Morneau, and blocked a Heyward trade. Tabarnes, Butera was like 5th on the depth chart for the CPU...
