Mauer's expensive, but he's worth every penny.

i see ur point...i just dont think the Twins would settle for Doubront and Swihart...unless they were picking up the majority of Mauer's contract which i dont see eitherSteelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Ya just cause you get placed on waivers doesn't mean anything, almost every player in the Majors who isn't on a contending team gets put on waivers. There's a 99% chance he won't get traded, no team wants to take on that contract plus give up there whole organization, and also the Twins want to keep him. So Mindbeats if your wing realistic don't trade for him cause theres really no way he's gonna get traded, and your making it sound like there's a good chance just cause he cleared waivers, which there isntMy teams:

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Still looming around the trade deadline. The Tigers have a slim lead in the their division by 0.5 games. I think they could use another piece in their outfield. Their weakest starting outfielder is RF Bennan Boesch (B) (26 y.o/1yr@510k) (.295/.397/.451/9/34)
Their bench guys are LF Andy Dirks and CF Don Kelly who both aren't having good seasons.
First question - Is Boesch having a good enough season that Detriot wouldn't look to trade for someone else?
Second question from these RF below who do you think they would go after?
Vill Venable (C) (29 y.o/1yr@600k) (.247/.320/.481/14/57)
Irchiro (A) (38 y.o/[email protected]) (.227/.313/.466/13/57)
Jeff Francoeur (B) (28 y.o/[email protected]) (.288/.333/.488/15/49)Madden Breakdowns Full YOUTUBE Playlist

What teams are out of contention?
Fair enough, but they really should be doing a full rebuild. When Buxton and Sano are up, and hopefully Mauer still has some years left, they'll be verrrrry dangerous."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment
