Look who decided to show up lol.

Got any names the Sox would have to trade? Just outta curiosity about what my rivals are doing...

Not with that contract there not getting Bogarts. Swihart prolly, and then I could see Doubront since the Twins pitching is terrible

They're rebuilding, so current needs don't matter.

Mauer's expensive, but he's worth every penny.

Wait, why are Sox interested? I thought Salty was Jesus!

i see ur point...i just dont think the Twins would settle for Doubront and Swihart...unless they were picking up the majority of Mauer's contract which i dont see either

So Mindbeats if your wing realistic don't trade for him cause theres really no way he's gonna get traded, and your making it sound like there's a good chance just cause he cleared waivers, which there isnt
Don't worry man, I'm not trading for him.

Correct if I'm wrong, but in real life these all these players will be reclaimed by their original franchises. This is why using 30 team control is so important.

I think the Twins could contend next year if they got a couple pitchers, there lineup is top 5 in the AL and they've played great of late. So that's why I think if they were to trade Mauer which they won't, it'll be for young pitchers like Doubront

Still looming around the trade deadline. The Tigers have a slim lead in the their division by 0.5 games. I think they could use another piece in their outfield. Their weakest starting outfielder is RF Bennan Boesch (B) (26 y.o/1yr@510k) (.295/.397/.451/9/34)

Their bench guys are LF Andy Dirks and CF Don Kelly who both aren't having good seasons.

First question - Is Boesch having a good enough season that Detriot wouldn't look to trade for someone else?

Second question from these RF below who do you think they would go after?

                            Vill Venable (C) (29 y.o/1yr@600k) (.247/.320/.481/14/57)

                            Irchiro (A) (38 y.o/[email protected]) (.227/.313/.466/13/57)

Fair enough, but they really should be doing a full rebuild. When Buxton and Sano are up, and hopefully Mauer still has some years left, they'll be verrrrry dangerous.

Boesch's stats outside of homers and rbi's are pretty good...if the guys around him are producing then it's conceivable that they keep him......but if they WERE to upgrade, i think it'd be Frenchy
