Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
What about Mesoraco, Lucroy, Carlos Santana, Alex Avila or even the prospect Yasmani Grandal?
What can I give for them realistically? My teams:
Soccer (It's football, not soccer!!): SL Benfica
Baseball: Oakland A's/ San Francisco Giants
Football: San Francisco 49ersComment

You could definatley get Lucroy easy, with Ianetta an a B, Avila and Santana your gonna need an A prospect, which I don't think the Angels have. Grandal isn't realistic, but if you really want him, Ianetta, a B prospect, and maybe take a bad contract off the Pads."I'm just gonna go out there, and call the Yankees my daddy" - Pedro Martinez

Catchers are always tricky. If a team has a good one, or even an average one, there's a small chance they're willing to give it up."I'm just gonna go out there, and call the Yankees my daddy" - Pedro Martinez

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Sorry I couldn't get to these earlier.... Coming back today!
I'm looking to make this trade... ( I'm the jays)
To: Boston
Adam Lind 1B - 2.81 batting average with 22 HR 44 RBI
Jeff Mathis C
Ricky Romero SP - 5-6 3.27 ERA 86 SO
To: Toronto
Josh Beckett SP - 8-8 2.69 118 SO ( Or Lester maybe if a can get him)
David Ortiz 1B - 3.24 batting average with 23 HR 63 RBI
Jarrod Saltalamacchia C
Muaer might be hard to get realistically. The Blue Jays are out of it though, and I know he's no Montero or Mauer, but JP Arencibia is a good young A potential catcher. It would take possibly 2 or 3 Bs plus take a bad contract to get him. Though if you really want Mauer, it wil take 2-3 high As. Montero is usually impossible to get.
Arencibia won't be traded until 2014 deadline at earliest.
You should've trade him to the Jays, not the Yanks!"Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

What's the price of Hank Conger from the Angels? I'm thinking two C's since he's stuck behind Chris Iannetta, Bobby Wilson and John Hester from the looks of it this year. He's batted to a .299 AVG with 8 HR, 39 RBI in 244 AB's this year your the Bees (IRL). He'll turn 25 in JanuaryFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.
