Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I just started my franchise with the Rangers and I'm looking to add a top of the line SP. I've already traded away Dempster and I'm looking to move Oswalt and Lewis is seperate deals. I'll add Feliz if i have to get my top pitcher. I have some other top minor league players I added in other deals. I'm currently looking at either Sale, Lincicum, Cliff Lee. I would consider King Felix but I doubt I can get him. Does anyone have any suggestions?Comment

What do you think it would cost to get King Felix? What about Chris Sale? I know the Sox wouldn't trade him but What about a deal built around Feliz?Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I know they wouldn't trade sale in real life. Who would of thought Boston would of traded AGon. Probabley not alot of people. I'm not in any way trying to rip off the White Sox. I would give them say Feliz with a couple of great pitching prospects and either a good infielder somwhere or an outfielder or maybe a great catcher. I realize before anyone jumps all over me but What kind of package for Sale do you think would workComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
For the whole "No one would have thought the red sox would trade AGon" argument, There's a huge difference between AGon and a guy like Sale
Adrian Gonzalez is a 1B with a 9 figure total salary that was traded during a down season. Also with him was an albatross contract (Crawford) and a clubhouse cancer ( Beckett). The dodgers gave up two of their best pitching prospects to get them as well.
Sale is a 23 year old Cy Young candidate that has been one of the key parts to the White Sox surprise season. He is their ace. He has tremendous upside. That's why Sale is unrealistic and would take so much to get him.
You need to give up 3 A's and a B to get Sale. Not very good with names but the package Totte has proposed looks like a good value.Comment
