Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
So K-Jo would be expendable in a deal of course. Could he move to LF if one were to acquire another 2B bat? We're all about statistics trying to determine what a player is worth but I guess K-Jo is two C's or a low-B if he's putting up All Star numbers.
Ever thought of having Lawrie move back to 2B and play E5 at 3B? How did you put together your lineup early in the season?Comment

.260 from Johnson is wishful thinking IMHO."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Is the online home run derby gone? I went to try to play in one this morning online and it sent me directly to offline. No option to play online or offline, nothing. o_OComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I'm using Scott's rosters but I backed up transactions to opening day. I like to use that as a starting point and have an alternate version of the season (my own season), if you will.
Anyways, I'm in mid-May and have 30 team control on. The Mariners just signed Roy Oswalt from the free agent list to which I'm of course like, no way, wouldn't happen. Oswalt wants to play half a season on a contender (cake and eat it too). The M's have 11 wins in nearly 40 games. But, I can't get them to stop signing him. Do you know of a way around this?
The only way I could see is to find is to determine the best destination for him and sign him with them. TEX is probably the best team but all of their pitchers are healthy to the point that Derek Hollnd is in AAA. HOU is out of it, and ATL looks similar to TEX. I thought that those would be the first choices for him.
The Pads are first in the west at 21-16 and a couple of their pitches are not performing that well (50-60% QS) but they are contending and could use him. They are NL and warm weather--would this be unrealistic? Otherwise, he's looking at CIN, NYM, WAS, MIN, CHI-A, DET, LAA. Ideally, he'D stay as a FA for another month at least but is there another way around it?Comment
