He's only hitting .150 and maybe NYY are misusing him? Scott Podsednik still isn't signed either. Thoughts?
I don't know what your rosters look like, but coming from a Rockies fan, Tyler Colvin would be a decent, cheap option for your outfield. I know he was rated pretty awful in the first roster but I would assume he's rated higher. He hit .290 18hrs, 72rbi IRL this year, he's also got above average speed.

What are you looking for at 3B? Fielding, power, contact?

Some of these might depend on rosters, what year you are in, how teams are doing, etc...RHB's with pop and most are free agents right this weekend...

I'll look at Colvin when I get home tonight but the NL West is real tight so I don't know if they'd sell him?

I used Scotts v4 and rolled back the clock to the day of the very first game. The rosters are near the end of spring training.

My needs are a 3B I can start everyday and send Morel to AAA for seasoning and a LF/UO I can start against RHP. I'd prefer at least one of them to hit left-handed and at least one of them to be able to steal a base. My team is too much like the real ChiSox this year--station to station with lots of power.

If you have rosters from the end of spring training... Tyler Colvin might be in AA in your season haha. He was rated so poorly, but had a very good year this year.
I'll take a look at some players when I'm at my PS3 if no one else throws some suggestions out.

At 3B I thought of Chone Figgins... I don't know if that's what your looking for, I've just always been a big fan of his.

I'm at work so o PS3 right now. I've scoured. Parra from AZ or Schierholtz from SF would be great but that race is too tight. Aoki could be good but MIL seemingly wants too much for him.

I'm thinking Podsednik and Eric Chavez right now--what do you think about the realism in getting them? Pods is still a free agent and Chavez is only hitting .150 and is getting about 20% of the AB's. Also, what would Chavez cost?

Scotty Pods and Chavez are solid options if you ask me. Chavez won't cost you more than a mid C.

I think it would be fairly realistic.. especially if A-Rod's there and healthy.

                    1 high C for Chavez?

Parra would be a good spot starter. He's got good defense and above average speed.
EDIT: I'm not sure how willing the D-Backs would be on giving Parra up.. but Chavez and Podsednik would be good fits.

Parra would be one low B but given how much the D'backs love him, you'd have to overwhelm them to get him.

Yeah with Chavez I'm thinking he's a valuable veteran, former gold glove winner and he's got some pop. Sure if he's stinking it up at the plate, one could lower the offer. He's certainly expendable with Jayson Nix and Eduardo Nunez being able to back up at 3B

I can DFA Fukudome and give that spot to Pods no problem. Chavez would mean using Lillibridge against LHP's or Eduardo Escobar. Lilly is doing good so far this year with the bat and is good in LF defensively. He strikes out a lot, though. Escobar has good range and no bat. Hmmm. Still an upgrade I guess and I'll just have to be creative. I just can't find any other options, though, other than waiting for Morel to heat up. He's had the snowflake 2 or 3 times. He has a decent game, it goes away, and then it comes right back!

And we thought the trade logic was flawed. The devs must be doing it right lol. As this deal is a straight up 1for 1 player deal
