I don't think that could match the Jays' offer.

Cardinals - Matt Carpenter, Matt Adams, Shelby Miller and Lance Lynn. They won't include Oscar Taveras

Counter: Trevor Rosenthal, Shelby Miller, Matt Carpenter.

Giants - not likely given their pitching depth to begin with. More likely to target a bat

    Absolutely terrible farm system.

Jays - See what AC replied - solid package

    Probably the best so far.

White Sox - Don't have the prospects to pull this off

    Terrible farm.

Royals - Mike Moustakas, Danny Duffy and Bubba Starling (although I guess KC would say no to this).

Moustakas may not hit, Duffy is turrible and Starling wasn't great last year. I'd go Myers/Lamb.

Indians - Lonnie Chisenhall, Cord Phelps, Alex White and Michael
    Brantley

Phillies have no use for Brantly with Revere, Phelps is bad, White isn't even on the Indians, and Chisenhall has his troubles. This starts and ends with Lindor/Howard, which they wouldn't do.
    Just some thoughts.

What could the Jays get for Omar Vizquel? Specific names would be appreciated if you can find any. I'm looking to improve on pitching depth, mostly young relievers or starters.

I like that Cards offer with Rosenthal in there but the Jays match up real nicely.

As for the Indians, I know White was dealt this past week but I assumed he was still in the Indians in these set of rosters.

If I were the Cardinals I'd rather hang on to Miller and Rosenthal. I wouldn't even trade them for Felix tbh.

Damn, that's some pretty high praise. I think it sort of varies person to person.

I like Rosenthal better than Miller - 96+ as a starter, good control, two improving secondaries... genuine TOR potential, and the same can be said for Miller too.

I don't think Halladay would net multiple major league ready players, his age is a dealbreaker. Multiple low minors prospects with good upside makes more sense to me.

Then the package I listed for the Blue Jays makes more sense.

Nothing short of either Bautista or Lawrie would be my guess.

Just weighing my options, but what buy-low pitching candidates could I get if my rosters were from the beginning of the season?

If A.J. Burnett is still on the Yankees (forget when that happened), him. Ryan Dempster? Rick Porcello? Zack Britton?

Burnett's on the Pirates on my roster, and I don't know if I'd want him anyways. Dempster could be a good option, as could Porcello to a lesser extent. Britton would be a good target except he's in my division.
