Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Yea I think they have enough aged talent. Not to mention they plan to be under the luxury cap in the next couple years to avoid all them taxes. I was reading something about how you only have to be under the cap once every 4 years to avoid a large part of the taxes and that looked to be the yankees plan.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Interested to hear the responses, it took me a few trades I can't remember to get to this point but...
Gary Brown (Giants CF prospect)
Jurickson Profar (Rangers SS prospect)
For
Wil Myers (Royals RF prospect)
Bubba Starling (Royals CF prospect)
I believe they are all A potential...Comment

I dunno, I think Royals are getting ripped off. Both Starling, and Myers are both better prospects than Gary Brown IMHO, and the Royals have their shortstop in Alcides Escobar who is a stud. I think you'd need to add another piece in order to get Myers, and Starling.Last edited by hawks223; 05-22-2012, 09:33 AM.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Looking for some advice on where I should go in my Astros franchise (in the second season. I really need some pop in my lineup and I have a lot of young B prospect starting pitchers that I could move. Here are some guys that I could include in the deal.. (I believe almost all are real players except a couple 1st year draft guys).
SP - Jarred Coasart, 22, b potential
SP - Henry Sosa, 27, c potential
SP - Paul Clemens, 25, b potential
SP - Brett Oberholtzer, 23, b potential
SP - Mike Foltynewicz, 21, b potential
SP - Kyle Weiland, 26, B potential
SP - Nick Tropeano, 22, B potential
Some other B potential guys .. 3B Chris Johnson, Brett Wallace, Jordan Schafer (only in a deal for a better CF), Brian Bogusevic (also only in a deal for a better RF)
I just feel like the majority of my lineup is composed of speedy average guys (paredes, altuve, lowrie, schafer, bogusevic, etc). I could use another guy who could net me a double or two lol. Not looking for the aging veteran or any superstars really. Just looking for some guys to look at maybe.Comment

What do you suggest a B prospect?... And I really should give the royals more since I got Collins and Holland from them in a steal of a trade earlierComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
First Escobar isn't stud, and Profar will be better than he ever will. And Myers has had injury problems so its not like hes a sure thing.Comment

The Braves have plenty of young arms you could target. Shelby Miller of the Cards is an intriguing option but he'd never be moved IRL so that depends on how realistic you want it to beFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Got to be more specific like what players you have in mind, and list the prospects names cause I can only think of 1 A in the Angels system.Comment
