Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Jose Reyes just went down for 2 months with a knee. Marlins are tied for 1st place.
I'm thinking SS Brendan Ryan of Seattle might be a good trade for them.
His stats (C) 29 y/o last year of contract @ 830K / (.272/.344/.348) 2 HR / 31 RBI... We all know he is a defensive replacement...
What do you guys think the Marlins would trade for him? Or would they look for a SS with a better bat?Madden Breakdowns Full YOUTUBE Playlist

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Cubs get:
- Bruce Chen
- Johnny Giavotella
- Chris Dwyer
KC Royals get:
- Matt Garza
Fair trade? Should I change something?
And what can I give for these: (If they are even transferable)
- Kipnis
- Jamile Weeks
- Dustin Ackley
- Emilio BonifacioLast edited by MindBeats; 08-27-2012, 05:24 AM.My teams:

I don't see Giavotella as a fit for the Cubs since they have Barney at second and he offers the same slim/non exciting offensive package. However he could be a throw in to provide depth at Wrigley.
Dwyer is fine...so yeah swap Chen for Hochevar and you've got yourself a deal IMO.Former modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Weeks has great upside but has been so-so this year and even demoted to Sacramento if I'm not mistaken. Don't think the A's are about to give up on him yet so I'd say he stays for now.
Bonifacio is a huge part of Guillen's running game and should play an even bigger role next year since Hanley is gone. He's the most likely to be traded out of the four guys you mentioned for whatever that's worth. I'd say two high C's with upside in general for BonifacioFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

I like Chen as a filler in the rotation for the hole that Garza leaves but I think the Cuba would rather take the upside of Hochevar instead.

I will switch Chen for Hochevar and I'm gonna make the Bonifacio trade
Edit: One more thing: What could I get for Getz?Last edited by MindBeats; 08-27-2012, 06:03 AM.My teams:
