Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Obviously. That's the point lol. They wouldn't trade him, so you'd have to overpay be a ton. Just trying to steer him back into reality lol."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Let's play with the idea that the Yankees were to shed a bunch of salary, what would the price be for...
Sabathia (Two A's and one B?)
A-Rod (Two C's given his contract?)
Teixeira (Three B's?)
Granderson (Three B's?)
Swisher (One B and one C?)
Soriano (One low B?)
(I won't mention Jeter, Cano or Rivera)Former modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Come on man... You came and asked for advice. If you knew you wouldn't listen to it, why would you ask and go off on the people trying to steer you into the direction of realism. Honestly the White Sox would hang up the phone faster than you could say Sale. Maybe.. If you offered Cole Hamels, Justin Verlander, and Felix Hernandez they'd pull the trigger.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Wow...I missed a hell of a show in this thread. I think for the sake of diffusing any further conflict and keeping this thread open we should remind people of a few things.
1. This is a thread where some of us take time out of our days to help you create and tweak trades.
2. This thread isn't the place for fantasyland trades, I can't stress that enough. The guys in here are baseball fans through and through, and thus they want to keep it realistic. If you want to make a fantasy team or trade garbage players for superstars, do it somewhere else.
3. If you don't like the advice given, don't follow it. Nobody's forcing you to do anything but DO NOT come in here and insult people because you disagree. We're all adults (well some of us are, and we all should behave like adults) and its ridiculous that great threads like this always get derailed by one moron who doesn't like not getting his way. Respect, pretty sure its required in TOS...and if you don't know what TOS is, your time here is limited anyways.
