So what missing pieces are the Mariners looking for. They farm league is filled with pitching so I guess a bat or two. Right

As an M's fan, its nice to see we're not the only ones that believe this lol. However, with Texas and LA at the top, "up and coming" isn't getting us anywhere.
sure but in terms of being contenders quicker, i sure as hell rather be a M's than A's fan...

Are you sure you not an MLB scout? Haha! I do believe there was some scouts here last year in the boards. Well that's what I heard anyway. I believe one visit the rosters forum frequently.

yup....Figgy has been a bust.....Ryan isn't an offensive threat.....whoever plays CF cant be counted for offense and Olivo is nothing to write home about...outside of Felix, their current rotation is suspect

                Re: Da Astros

                M's pieces to build on:

                C/DH Montero
                1B Smoak
                2B Ackley
                LF Carp
                3B/UT Seager

                SP King Felix
                SP Beaven (maybe?)
                SP Noesi (maybe?)
                RP Wilhelmsen

That's in the majors. They have three frontline starters in AA and a couple decent bats (3B's Catricala in AAA and Martinez in AA). Other than that, a vet with some pop would be nice.

Trading Synder to the Mariners for Olivo and another player before we hit the AL West how do that sound? Isn't Synder an upgrade to Olivo?

I'd like to ship Olivo anywhere for a rosin bag.
