I know. I was just speaking out of frustration! It sucks to play a game this long and lose.

This is actually the 2nd franchise I have had with the Astros. I started over after the patch. My first franchise I never made an out with Schafer but this time I only have 1 hit with him. But his last 2 at-bats I hit liners with him and both were caught.

well after playing a few more games, im about done with JD Martinez.....he's hitting .197 with 1 hr and 8 rbi's through 40 games.....i gave him a chance to start again after riding the bench for a bit and he's done absolutely nothing....i would maybe accept his downfalls if the rest of the lineup was producing at a halfway decent level but for a 3rd-place hitter to hit below the mendoza line with no average, no power, no rbi's is just adding onto my offensive misery.....gunna explore a trade with the Cubs for Soriano or the Dodgers for Ethier (both teams are floundering in their division).......if somebody is willing to give me a good reason to keep running Martinez out there day after day, please enlighten me cause im at my wit's end with that guy

How is he doing in the outfield? He you tried to place him 7th. Place Castro in third. I know don't like Johnson but he will hit.

Don't give up. Kinsler was hitting .200 now he's up to around .255, patience.

You're doing better than I am with him. He's hitting .097 for me. Schafer's average after going 0-for-7 against the Marlins is down to .045. But I'm still killing it with Matt Joyce. He's at .524. Francoeur is at a very good .280. Carlos Pena is at .179

his defense is fine and yes i've tried moving him around in the order...no dice....Johnson's doing fine actually....Castro's another bum...he's hitting a robust .121 in AAA.....i might package Martinez and Castro in a trade

How much more rope wudd u suggest i give him?....cause im hoping to contend this year and i desperately need a power hitter to pair with Lee and each day that goes by, there's the possibility that one of my trade targets gets injured....

Man that's tough! How's Soriano doing? If he's doing real good then I might be tempted to do that. But if you just want 1-year guy till free agency then I would sign Vald and then go after a big name in the offseason.

Well he was never known as much of a average hitter. But 10 homeruns is good depending on where you are in your season.
