I don't think I've ever done well with Chris Johnson on offense. He's a beast defensively, though.

I'm the same way with Schaffer. Can't hit above the Mendoza line with him, but I can't take him out of the line up because he's so good in the outfield.

With Schafer you have options with him at the plate. I learned sometimes you gotta attempt bunts with him to have the CPU on they toes next time he up to bat. As for Johnson he tear the ball up. I really don't have a stragey for him but to have patience.

I was thinking if Myers doesn't do well as the closer, would it be appropriate to put Rhiner Cruz as closer and put Myers at setup.

i had Cruz closing at AA...then he went on to have a 9.90 ERA....no thanks.....he's taking up a roster spot in Single-A as we speak

You must be a baller! I struggling with H town. Well I started over because the newest roster came out. The Rockies swept me 14 runs to my 2 runs. The Braves did they thang as well. Are you playing the minor league games too? I think I gonna play some of them as well. Something about the work these guys put in these rosters, making me wanna play some AAA ball. How many games does AAA play in the Show?

im not *ballin* at all...i have yet to score double-digit runs in any single game...most of my games end up 2-1, 3-2, 4-3 etc....my top 4 starting pitchers are giving me quality starts every time they step on the mound and thus keeping me in every game.....no i dont play minor-league games

Have any of you guys gotten a check swing with Jordan Schafer? I can't get him to stop his swing at all. I've gotten 1 hit with him.

Every at-bat for him is a strikeout or a weak grounder right at someone. And I tried bunting with him but for some reason the bunts don't go where I want them to. They usually end up going right back to the pitcher. I'm playing my 7th game right now and I have 1 hit with him.

This game I'm playing against the Marlins is one of the more frustrating games I've played yet. I'm tied at 2 in the 11th inning. The only reason I'm tied is because with 2 outs in the 7th inning I made a mistake with a changeup and Logan Morrison hit a 2-run homerun to right-center field. Now here's the frustrating part. Since I gave up that homerun I've hit 3 balls that have been caught on the warning track in basically the exact same spot that Morrison's ball went out.

I'm getting really pissed! I have all my hitting sliders maxed out and have gotten wheelhouse or solid contact with good timing or just early timing and have now hit 5 balls that have been caught on the warning track! I cannot hit a homerun! And it's so frustrating because that's the only chance I have at scoring because I can't get more than 1 hit in an inning. I'm now in the 15th inning. Last inning I got a 2-out double then hit a liner down the 1st base line that would have been a run but it got caught! This inning was the most frustrating yet. 1st batter hit a ball all the way to the warning track that was caught. Next batter gets a ball in the gap and the centerfield makes a diving catch. Next batter hits another liner to straight away center and another diving catch by the centerfielder!

EDIT: Well wouldn't you know it in the bottom of the 15th inning Hanley Ramirez rips a ball down the right field line for a double and then after I get 2 outs Morrison singles to end the game!

One thing I've always felt about this game is that for whatever reason it's programed to where there are certain teams that are impossible to beat other teams with and the computer does whatever possible to make sure that doesn't happen. Like those 5 balls I hit that were all caught on the warning track and the ball the computer hit was a homerun.

i can feel your frustration as i go thru the same exact situation (as does every1 else at some point)....unfortunately there's no remedy to fix it.....what i will disagree with u on is teams programming to lose to other teams....no matter how hard u try, sometimes u are destined to fail....no matter if u hit the ball right on the screws or if u paint the ball on the corner only to have it get ripped.....those things happen and u just have to move on
