Two guys I was thinking about are jacoby ellsbury or cargo. They both can hit steal and play defense good.

Well throw CarGo out lol. He would never get traded to the D-Backs. They shouldn't have traded him in the first place

Ellsbury is 100x more realistic. How are his stats and where are the Red Sox at in the standings?

You think so? His defense is really good, as far as attributes go at least. I'm just worried that he's 23 and his contact is hovering around 30.

In my dynasty, he's hitting .263 in AAA. Which is the average batting average. His contact vs. both sides (average) is 53. He develops.

@Geno I agree. Also, same division screws it up.

Hmm, what year is it? I'm hoping if I get him I'll be able to rely on his glove for a few years until his contact goes up.

What do you guys think about this trade?

Secound offseason with the Pirates, made a trade with the Phillies who are terrible.

81 ovr B Travis Snider, 76ovr high B 24 yr old Catcher, 67 21 year oldHigh A 1B and a 70 ovr 25 year old B SP for 88 Overall Ben Revere.

All these positions that i traded are positions of need for the Phils...the Catcher will be there starting catcher Snider will be there STarting RFer and Howard is old and regressing fast and so the 1b will be there soon enough...

Ben Revere is my favorite player and I have the hugest man-crush on him but you got fleeced by the Phillies. Revere is worth Snider and the SP but that's about it

I would rather over pay then under pay with this game though lol...I really wanted a lefty lead off hitter...he fits the role perfectly so I dont mind over paying if I did...Love his defence, speed and batting.

But you're overpaying by a lot. I love the guy to death but no need to give up Snider, an A and 2 B potentials prospects for him.

IRL, he got traded for Vance Worley (B) and Trevor May (C).

Thats true...i just thought cause he was an all star CF 88 overall, I figured it would take a lot to get him, plus I dont think the 88 overall does him justice... 82 contact for lh and rh plus hes crazy fast and has great Defence. Plus, still under team control for a couple more years.

Yeah, I agree. I too love Ben Revere and how he plays, but you overpaid a bit for him. The good news for you is he covers so much ground in the outfield!

Cards offered me Michael Wacha for Jimmy Rollins... as much as I want to move Jimmy, I don't think this trade is fair at all. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to do it but it's pretty unbalanced.

Ellsbury is batting .261 8 Homeruns 27 rbis and the redsox are 30-31 and 10.5 back in the division and 5.5 back in the wc

year 2. not sure if this is a fair trade or not but i couldnt help but make it when the Dodgers offered.....i actually gave them a better deal. They offered me Chad Billingsley for Hochevar who i have starting and is 5-1 with a 2.56 era and Chris Getz who was hitting .303 mostly playing some shortstop sparingly cause i signed Cano in Free agency.

So i gave them them Aaron Crow who is an 86 ovr compared to Hochevars 76 and Getz who instantly became their starting 2b. He is a 79 their next best is 72. and i added an A prospect in Cheslor Cuthburt who at 65 ovr became their 2nd best 3rd baseman behind David Freese.

Billingsly was an 88 and they still had two high 90 guys in Grienke and Kershaw and three other guys who were around 86 overall.

idk if i cheated them or not...thoughts?

By the way i did it cause i traded off Shields and Santana in year one cause we were out of the race.

Oof, realistically though, Rollins couldn't get you Wacha... Maybe Tyrell Jenkins instead?

You're the Diamondbacks right? How many SBs does Ellsbury have? I would say a Michael Perez and Alfredo Marte trade wouldn't be a bad trade since he isn't outstanding at the plate. Perhaps an Adam Eaton trade for Ellsbury trade straight up could be interesting

You definitely overpaid by throwing Cuthbert in there.
I think Crow+ Getz would be okay for Billingsley

Ellsbury has 13sb. I was thinking I would be interested in trading eaton. Not a big fan of his.
