I want to trade Ryan Doumit, what good player can I get for him? Maybe looking for reliever if possible...Comment

As for your return package, George Kontos has a nice hard fastball. Ramon Ramirez to give you a proven arm in return?Former modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

My thought was taking Ethier back as some salary relief while filling that corner OF hole the Phillies have. Zach Lee would probably nice depth for the minors along with Jesse Biddle and Adam Morgan. Dee Gordon is worth a gamble IMO. Especially since Utley is a free agent after 2013 and Rollins is aging. I'd personally use Gordon as a pinch runner and MI sub from the benchFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Quick question/opinion asking for everyone....Has anyone noticed an advantage to waiting until the deadline to make a trade as opposed to earlier in the year? Better return? More interest in your players???Let's Go Mets!!!Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
It would be amazing if the game could incorporate something like that, where a team inquires about a player, maybe makes a offer, where you could counter offer, and they could then counter offer that. based of their need.
The problem in this game is when CPU trading was on in my first Franchise without 30-team control, Top-20 A prospects were being dealt every year for stupid things like a LHP RP, a aging catcher or a position player 1 or 2 years away from retirement making a ton of money.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Well in my own opinion, I would say CPU trading logic is probably the biggest thing that needs fixed on this game, but I run 30-team control and do all the trades myself trying to use real life examples of what teams would do in my Franchise, as well as listing trades here to see if they are fair or realistic.

Odorizzi can easily get you an Ike Davis. What is Davis' stats though? If he is tearing the cover off the ball, his value greatly increases.Red Sox: 2018 World Series Champions!!!

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Oh look, another Stanton question!
So, I chose the Pirates in my franchise, and as you can assume, I'm looking to acquire Stanton either at the deadline in a few weeks, or during the Winter. Currently, the only player I refuse to give up is Cole, which pretty much leaves the rest of the farm at my disposal. Currently, I'm looking at giving up Polanco, Heredia, and an A potential 3B I added to sorta replicate the loss of Appel. I know that's not enough, so who else should I add to finish up the deal? Will I have to part with either Taillion or Hanson? Should I wait until the offseason and add one of my top draft picks? Am I best off just quitting now and crying in a corner? Any help is appreciated!Comment
