You know who else has great stuff? Henry Rodriguez. Kyle Drabek. Jeremy Jeffress. Nathan Eovaldi. Carlos Carrasco. Alfredo Figaro. Garrett Richards. Esmil Rogers. My god why are there so many Jays on this list. Allen Webster. Charlie Morton. Hector Noesi. Tom Koehler. Burch Smith. Trevor Bauer.

I think my point is clear. It's about what you do with the stuff, too. Archer isn't K'ing many, walking too many, and probably giving up too many homers. I like Odorizzi better tbh.

Ordorizzi > Archer IMO as well.

Too soon on these guys imo, all will be MLB starters. Anyway i do have a trade question. I am doing a 30-team chise and the Yankees middle infield sucks. Jeter is retired and Cano is a Dodger. So i was thinking Brendan Ryan from the Mariners and Darwin Barney from the Cubs...realistic options?

Yeah, but we don't know how good. Just examples of struggles with stuff.

            Yeah, they're definitely realistic.

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

Hey guys in my Twins franchise I'm currently in 1st place getting around mid season but my team is coming back down to earth and we're about to be passed up by the Tigers, Indians, and Royals. The WC is also going to be too tough to compete in and I can't fight off the Tigers since they just got Miggy and Fielder back 1 week ago from injury.

I'm looking to sell and build up my farm system for the future. All of my prospects have been doing good (minus Alex Meyer who has dropped to a high C and Alex Wimmer who has dropped to a low B)

Here are some guys who I think have some value

              Glen Perkins: .47 ERA, 32 IP, 44 SO, 9 BB, 21 SV

              Joe Mauer: .323, 6 HR, 44 RBI, 5 SB

              Josh Wilingham: .251, 21 HR, 54 RBI

              Ryan Doumit: .313, 9 HR, 42 RBI

Tom Wilhelmsen: .75 ERA, 25 IP, 36 SO, 5 SV

Jared Burton: 2.50 ERA 23 IP 26 SO

              Trevor Plouffe: .266 11 HR 38 RBI

After that I really don't have much thats too valuable... My lineup is pretty awful besides Mauer, Wilingham, and Doumit and Plouffe. I was going to trade for Cano but his salary would make it so I couldn't sign any of my draft picks.

The only guys who are having solid years in my rotation are Vance Worley and Jake Arrieta. My bullpen has been nasty but I don't know if I'm going to deal anyone as bullpen arms don't carry much value.

              The contenders are...

              Yankees are back in it
              Blue Jays
              Rays
              Redsox

              Tigers
              Indians
              Royals

              Athletics
              Rangers
              Angels

              Braves
              Washington
              Phillies

              Cardinals
              Reds
              Pirates

              Rockies
              Diamonbacks
              Dodgers

All the races are really close, all of these teams are within 6.5 games.

Barney is a B on the spreadsheet, so would Campos work for him?

Ryan worth 2 C's, so Cervelli(not sure if started a C but is now) + ? work? Saying Cervelli because of Montero suspension (all will be put in at the start of my second season) and they have nobody to back up Mike.

Barney for Banuelos or one of the pitching prospects named Jose. I think it's Campos/Ramirez. I'm pretty sure they're all B's in the game.

All depends on how Barney's playing. We know the glove is there, but his bat is a ? in the game. I could barely get him to hit over .240

Looking to move Encarnacion to Texas since they were rumored to be looking at him and Bautista. His spreadsheet value is Mid A, Mid A, Mid B. I guess I could take Profar but what else could I get back in the deal?

                    I was thinking:

                    Profar+Wilmer Font+Moreland (A+A+B) which is spreadsheet value....

Isn't Profar a high A? I would think he's since he's the #1 prospect in baseball and all that he would be a high A...although I haven't looked in game to confirm

Yeah...Profar isn't happening. Not for EE, or any package with him in it. The only Jay I could see that happening in is one centered around Bautista, and I think AC discussed that way earlier in the thread. High A doesn't equal mid A...not by a long shot.

Well I could take Profar and swap old *** Berkman and let em keep Moreland. Maybe give em JP as well.

                            EE+JP for Profar+Font+Berkman? that better?

You ain't getting Profar unless you part with Bautista. I personally don't see anyone other than him making Texas want to deal Profar. JP is woefully bad at a lot of things (think Delmon Young as a catcher, but without Delmon's .260+ average potential), and to me has minimal value. He is literally only good at 1 of the 5 tools. And he's not even good at it in the sense of it being a plus tool, it's just that he's better than most catchers at hitting for power.

Having said all that, I know you don't really care about realism. But this isn't fair either IMO

Can someone with more knowledge of the Rangers system help me out here? I figured the typical Perez, Martin, Olt, etc. offers would work for EE but I don't know specific values and can't check them either as I've been uprooted the past couple days with no Show time.
