that is excellent! Just have faith in the devs they got 98% of the game right they will bring us baseball nirvana!

I wish part of that nirvana was allowing for cpu teams in franchise to not always be cash/budget strapped just like years before, including the big market teams like red sox, dodgers, phillies, rangers.... it's impossible to make trades 3 years in because the salaries have to EXACTLY match

Great news. Fix those 2 things and Guess Pitch, and this game will be great again!

click on the guess pitch 'bug'...it is not being changed. it works as intended.

glad to hear about the regression fix though. hopefully this update comes soon...i've owned the game a week already and still can't fantasy draft

Yeah guess pitch isn't a bug, they changed how it works.

Sounds like they are taking regression out of ST, good to hear, now we can play ST and have position battles.

I really don't mind regression in spring training for the 35 and over group.

If they have it in Spring training you can't have it and progression in regular season as well, unless they changed the values and even it out. Players are progressing and regressing too fast with the double hits.

In real life ST is about seeing what level your players are at. You don't want to make all your roster decisions and then have regression after that.

There shouldn't be any in season 1 until the start of the regular season.

It's just an inconvenience at the moment. At least we have an ability to edit players, which is one of the reasons The Show is so amazing

I'm thrilled that there's at least a good amount of progression/regression, but the thing is that OVR affects the CPU decisions. So, in one of my sims, RA Dickey's OVR got lowered to the point where he was pitching out of the bullpen, despite a 3.16 ERA.

I haven't noticed any big jumps in progression and I'm like in mid-March. Maybe that happens after spring season is over?

Hopefully nobody else complains after the spring training progression/regression is fixed. I love the new system and it is miles ahead of last years.

The spring training brings too much progression to the young guys as well. Young guys can progress up to 20 points in one season, way to often So if they just have no spring progression/regression I think the system works perfectly.

I don't know who started say Guess Pitch was a "bug" in the first place, but that was never the case. It was just that they changed the system for the worse, and a TON of us here want it changed back, or at least given the option to.

Wow, did anybody see this yet?

Seems like player progression as well as many7some other bugs like first pitch meatball are marked as "In Progress" now on theshownation.com

We believe we have found the issue to the problem. We were penalizing/regression players in two places, should have only been one. We are working to include in a game update now.

A ton? you mean like maybe 30 guys? in the scope of things a ton of people think its fine the way it is.
