So I'm a month into the AA season with my 19 year old left fielder in the Cardinals organization. Through 96 at-bats I'm hitting .281 with 27 hits, 12 runs scored, 6 doubles, 2 triples, 4 home runs, 17 RBI, 1 stolen base, 4 walks, 7 strikeouts, .510 SLG%, .320 OBP, and an .831 OPS.

On May 3rd I was called up to AAA due to an injury. Kind of hoping I get sent back after the injured player heals. I don't like how fast you can advance to the majors sometimes. Feel like this year I really want to work for it. I did buy some training points for my player to up his rating some, but it isn't even sniffing the 80's or 90's.

Is there any way to control errors whatsoever? I cannot keep a plus .900 FP because the game randomly decides to over or under throw the 1st baseman constantly.

You need to upgrade your arm accuracy.

It's already at 50 I shouldn't be having an error every 3 games. There's people on major league rosters with worse.

Pretty sure that if you are just using classic or analog without throwing meter you are more driven by attributes. That said 50 is not gonna keep you error free all the time. xD

Button, no meter so it's the game engine that's doing it. The thing is its done this for years though. Since MLB 11 at least. Last year with 99 in everything I still averaged about 1 error a week.

^ use meter, you'll have a great chance of going error free barring any user error.

So I play 3B in the Nationals organization. Today I was looking at their 1B depth. They have Laroche at 34 and two other minor league prospects who are a D potential.

3B had a B in AAA and an A in AA.

Even with buttons there should be a throwing meter. Turn it on so you can throw better. If there's still too many throwing errors and it bugs you, just adjust the sliders.

I like the changes to RTTS, but the showcase games are intense. I never deliver when needed. I found my self going back to college after every draft. First time I went late 3rd round to STL Cards, next go around I went mid 2nd round to the NY Yankees (I probably should have went a played for the Thunder ) and this time around I went early 3rd round to the Miami Marlins.

I think I am going to just have one more go at the Showcase to see if I can get first round, even if my guy is 22 by the time he enters the Minors.

I created two players. One a 2B created from scratch, and another SS modeled after Jeter. Both did about the same in the showcase games. My from scratch 2B got drafted in 5th round by the Rangers, my Jeter modeled SS was the first pick in the second round by the Astros. I wonder if the fact that he was modeled after Jeter is what made him go higher in the draft? I started them both out with about the same attributes.

Starting pitcher Thad Castle () didn't allow a single hit or walk in the Topps Amateur Showcase, making bro-migos look silly at the plate with a vicious cutter-curve-slider combo.

Drafted 3rd overall in the 1st round by the Chicago White Sox organization, 59 overall rating (after applying training points earned from the showcase) and A potential. The Birmingham Barons (coincidentally the #1 overall rated AA team) are glad to have him on board.

                              The legend begins!

I made a custom 1st baseman , switch hitting / power /contact guy, I did pretty well in the showcase games, I probably would have been drafted higher but I chose my team ( Cardinals ) and was drafted #30 in the first round.2014 was in AA Springfield called up to AAA Memphis towards the end of the season August and finished the season there. I got a starter contact at AA again for 2015, then in middle of April 2015 called up again to AAA till May then was called up to the Show to replace Mike Adams as the everyday starter at 1st base. First game against the Brewers 3-4 ( two singles and double ) , so far so good. I caved and am playing the PS3 for a month till the PS4 comes. All the new features are awesome , it feels similar yet still fresh. More fluid animations , better ball physics and crisp game play , loving the Dynamic camera makes for a way cool experience IMHO.
