It's not in between seasons, though it is possible it could change at the end of the season too. I think it might be around All-star break for during season, least I noticed around that time my potential went from B to A. I suppose trade deadline could be another point it could change at.

      Stanley Sutton
      6 ft
      200 lbs
      3B

I decided to try and model him after myself when I was playing baseball. Solid play at 3rd with 1st as a backup position. Very strong arm thanks to pitching at an earlier age. Solid contact with above average power and aggressive base running making for lots of doubles and scoring from 2nd. I didn't do that well in the showcase, because I hadn't really played any version of the show since the first one. Got drafted by the Mariners in the top of the 3rd round but decided to go back for two years of school. Did better in the second showcase, but still drafted by the Mariners, except in the top of the 2nd round this time.

Started out by killing it in AA. Was called up in June after hitting 15 HRs, 50 RBI and had a .385 batting average. AAA was a struggle for the rest of the season. I did get to start the Futures All-Star Game, but finished the AAA season batting .284 with 19 HRs and 74 RBI. I expected to be the opening day AAA starter, but instead I was forced to sign a 1 year AA contract.

The beginning of season 2 was insane! I had a .580 batting average with 8 HRs and 20 RBI in the first 11 games of AA. Needless to say I got the call to AAA before game 12. In AAA, everything went much smoother than the previous season. By the end of May I was batting a consistent .340 and had hit 10 HRs with 30 RBI as a bonus. All this was done from the 3 spot in the batting order despite the fact that I really thought I would be lucky to end up in the 5 or 6 spot of the lineup in the majors. Sure enough, my contract was purchased by the Mariners on June 2, 2015 (season 2) and I just finished my first series against Toronto in the big show. I'm currently hitting 5th against left handed pitching and 6th against righties. Only time will tell how things are going to end up, but if the first series means anything I should be fine. I don't know if I'm going to make a run at ROY, but anything can happen.

      Goals for Stanley Sutton:
      .290 - .340 batting average with a lifetime of over .300
500 career home runs, even if I need to DH in the end of my career
      3000 career hits

Basically I would love it if I ended up being a .300/30HR/100RBI guy for a large number of seasons.

Very nice knowing that hitting your first MLB cycle gives you training points.

Also in my second season it's like the Orioles are a completely different team from what I came on to last year but nothing has changed player wise. Every position has the same player as the previous season. xD currently leading the league (16 - 7) and we're on a 9 game winning streak..

              Power pitcher

              4 Seam: 96-100 mph

              2 Seam: 92-96 mph

              Splitter: 84-88 mph

I'm working on developing a slurve now as well. As far as playing as a closer, it's fun and allows you to play a lot of games, as you're typically throwing fewer than 20 pitches

This is some straight BS! After putting up amazing numbers in AA for a month and a half and awesome numbers in AAA for over a year as a SP for the Mariners on All-Star difficulty, I FINALLY get called up! YAY!!! For all of 2 damn days!! I never threw a pitch. After celebrating making it to The Show by jumping up and down and customizing my player's shoes, sleeves and glove for the Mariner's colors I get punched right in the gut by being sent down because some douche recovered from an injury.

I reloaded (something I NEVER do) to see if it was just a glitch but same thing. I know have requested a trade. Not going to take this garbage.

I did the Showcase again from a save that I had and knocked it out of the park so to speak . I was the 1st round draft pick #2 to the Marlins ( 1st baseman ). I went to AA for a month or so and doing very well then I get traded to the Blue Jays ( did not ask for trade ). I got called up to AAA late summer 2014 and spent the last two months of the season there. In 2015 I started in AAA for the Jays doing really well again and then I get called up in June to Show. The Blue Jays trade Edwin Encarnacion and a prospects for Anibal Sanchez I am thinking oh great now I will be the starter which I was until July, then in July they trade me to the Angels ( did not ask for trade ) for Howie Kendrick and some prospects. I think great Albert Pujols is there now, what then I think, then Angels promptly traded him away for some pitcher ( can't remember too many trades to keep track of ) and now I am the everyday starter , so far so good. I am loving RTTS , this is the best one yet

I guess results vary. I Haven't been traded once even after I asked for one Have you simmed any games or are you just incredibly quick? I've had the game for since the 26th and haven't simmed anything (including training) and have played a lot and I'm only at the beginning of July of 2015.

Yes I simmed some games and it just happened , its seems kinda random to me.

I think it all depends what position you are playing, pitchers seem to get alot,if your playing in the field you get extra points, hitting streaks and extra HR's lot of way to make points.

I'm on Vita and feel like I'm not really getting any better. I get 20-60 points per game. I'm also not doing any baserunning since it's so time consuming

Just to give you some perspective, the Mariners #1 pitching prospect, and #1 prospect in the whole organization, was in the minors for 4 years before this season. He's injured right now but when he comes back he should finally take his permanent place in the rotation.

Obviously it won't take you 4 years in the video game, but it's just a hair over 1 season and you're crying BS and saying you're "not going to take this garbage" lol.
