I seen that and thanks but has it been confimed though that they had the lineups and rosters accurate before starting a franchise. Like I mentioned before and a example is the astros were not accurate of what opening day rosters really were and a few players were still or put in single A. I am just curious if someon just did there team or 1 team made sure all the right players were on the MLB 25 MAN ROSTER and did all 4 LINEUPS then started a franchise is it still doing the same thing?

      2. Once you advance to the Regular Season, the CPU automatically trims down these rosters to 25
      3. For some reason, this process of the CPU trimming the MLB rosters down from 40 to 25 is causing all the lineups to be reordered, even if Manual Lineup Control is ON. Doesn't matter if you are controlling 1 team or 30, any Manually Controlled Lineup will still be reordered.

There are two fixes to choose from, both of which require 30-team control and are quite tedious:

      1. Before advancing the the Regular Season, go through each team and set their MLB 25-man roster manually. Only 25 players can be at the MLB Level; everyone else needs to be sent to either AAA, AA, or A. You can still have 40 guys on the "40-man roster" (the "40-man" column that has "yes" or "no" next to each player), but you can only have 25 at the MLB Level.Y OR
      2. Advance to the Regular Season and allow the CPU to set the MLB 25-man rosters automatically. Before playing any games, go in and adjust each lineup manually.

So for these fixes, you have to pick your poison:

For option 1, you have to trim down every MLB roster to 25, but the lineups will remain in the correct order when you advance to the Regular Season.

For option 2, you don't need to worry about the 25-man roster, but you have to fix all 4 lineups for every team (which also requires fixing some players playing in the wrong position, btw).

      I personally prefer option 1.

      Hope this helps.
When I did this and set everything the computer still screwed things up for me when I started the season.

Am I doing 30 team control right? I select my team with my profile and "no profile" the others right? or do I need to create 29 separate profiles for the other teams?

You are not doing something right, no need to create 29 other profiles

OK so I'm thinking option 1.

Now, if you are doing 30 team roster control, do you still need to do what was done before and assign a different profile to every team? And if so, what are the global settings and profile settings for the CPU teams. On Global, I have trades/waivers on manual so they don't make any moves for my team. Can I then set everything to auto for the CPU profiles for each of the other 29 teams? And if I have trades as manual on global (and my team's profile) and auto on the other profiles for the 29 teams, we'll still see CPU to CPU trades?

I downloaded Knight and Co's fantastic rosters last night and started a franchise with the tigers. I trimmed my 40 man down to 25 with what I thought it was. Then went to "end spring training". When I went to look at my lineups they were PERFECT for w/DH. The rotation was also perfect too. I was wondering if the lineup issue would come up. But when I saw how good the tigers lineup looked I wasn't worried. I did not get to play a game yet but I went to bed thinknig I had some fun in store for the next time I played. So I guess i was just lucky.

BTW, really great job Knight and Co

Yes lloyditos, yours will be fine as you trimmed the 25 man yourself, its the CPU's on all other 29 teams that will be all over the place, and believe me it is, i didnt think it would be so bad that i couldnt ignore it, but i cant.

a good website for all the current injuries, what the injury is, and how long they should be out is here:

The official website of the Toronto Blue Jays with the most up-to-date information on news, tickets, schedule, stadium, roster, rumors, scores, and stats.

That's a strange bug if my team is perfect but the rest are screwed up. So if I drop all the right players on other teams from 40 man to 25 man roster will their lineups get set properly then or do I have to tweak the lineups too? WHy would it just work right for your team and not all of them.

I think its because there CPU controlled teams and the CPU uses different RANDOM lineups. There has to be sme option were over looking that would fix the lineup bug.

I'll probably just go ahead and start playing the franchise and deal with the problems as they come. I say that now but will prbably be a bit annoyed if I play the Yanks and Texiera is batting 9th.

Because the CPU only knows the players as numbers and not names like we do, so if someone in the minors has better ratings than an MLB man he gets the call.

Test it like this, i just did, start a new test franchise controlling just DET, then do nothing, just sim to end of sping, NOW look at your lineups, wrecked, and thats what happens to every team UNLESS you sort out their 25 man roster the same as your own.

Time consuming but its the only way to stop it sadly.
