Re: HOF Sliders (Project Nemesis)
Tomorrow when I get the ps3 version I am going to start off with these sliders as a base set and will adjust from there if necessary.
Also, a big thank you to the person who gave this thread a high rating!

To make things clear I treat default as 0. Any tweak to the right will have a (+) in front of it and any tweak to the left will have a (-) in front of it.

Pitcher Fatigue:
-Starting: 0
-Relief: 0 (I have brought this back to zero, I am not convinced that bringing it into the - reduces stamina.)
Pitch movement: +7
Pitch Command: -8
Wild Pitch Freq: +2
Contact: -10 (If you are finding too many weakly hit balls for your taste put this slider at -8. Do the same for the cpu)
Power: +1
Plate Awareness: -3
Error Freq: +10
Throwing Strength: +3
Throwing Accuracy: -3
Fielder Speed: -2
Passed Ball Freq: +1
Injury: +3
CPU

I just got the game a day ago... like you I'm striving for realism. I'm basically using your work here to begin with and go from there. I have never played The Show before, so I'm working with a brand new game here.
I have a couple questions about what exactly some of the sliders are or mean...
1. What exactly is cpu pitcher aggressiveness? Does this have anything to do with them throwing balls versus strikes?
2. What is human plate awareness? How can they have a slider for my own awareness? What will this help me accomplish?

The pitcher aggressiveness slider adjusts how severe the cpu pitcher comes after you with strikes. If you move the slider to the right the cpu pitcher constantly throws stikes. If you move it to the left, there is more pitch variety which leads to higher pitch counts because the cpu pitcher is working in and out of the zone.
The awareness slider is basically what other games have as the contact slider. It is your ability to make contact and your bat coverage through the zone. The contact slider in this game adjusts the quality of the bat on ball contact, not whether you swing and miss!
I love the ps3 version. I have made some tweaks and will be posting an update this weekend!

I love these sliders, I made a couple of edits for All-Star level and the PS3... Now I get a lot more walks, and I have dropped my BB:K ratio a lot (2-11 first trying out to 4-5 against Curt Schilling no less!) I can't seem to strike a soul out but that is simply out of a lil time off from the game.... The only real qualm I have is I can't seem to hit it out of the park. Example, Billy Butler gets a FB up and away, I power swing it. It goes deep to right in kaufman, and somehow Drew catches it at the very slimmest top of the wall. It would've been a minimum double, but not a HR. J/w what I could do to give my guys a little boost.Comment
