Guys that are 20+ games into a Franchise. Have you seen many in game injuries for extended periods of time with Injuries at 6? I just upped mine to 7, having seen only 1 injury longer than the remainder of the game (for my team) through 43 games.

Hell, Narveson took a liner off his eyeball and walked it off. Really?

Im almost too patient at times. Ive always got the CPU pitcher to roughly 100 pitches by the 6th and draw 3-4 walks per game.

That was just the most recent example, its been an ongoing thought of mine for the entire season since I made the switch. If I use zone without moving the PCI then the low pitch is beat into the ground and the high pitch is popped up so Im forced to wait for fat pitches to really do anything and that seems to be few and far between.

32 games into my season and Ive lost Furcal for a month and Uribe for 3 weeks so Ive had injuries. The irony is that both got hurt making a routine throw to first on a grounder while Ive had pitchers get tagged with line drives and continue on in the same game.

Conversely, not moving the PCI puts you at a huge disadvantage on low pitches and pitches on the black. Again, not knocking the sliders, they just dont match my skill level.
If you have the time to PM me a link to his sliders I sure would appreciate it. Im fairly confident with what Im using now but would like to compare to see what hes using and I wasnt able to find a thread with his sliders posted. Im using these currently with power up to 5, timing up 1 click, pitch speed at 1 and everything else the same I believe and its worked well on timing hitting.

Re: TNK & PsychoBulk ***The Perfect Slider Set 2011 Edition***

So far, I am a big fan of these sliders. I am playing with the Mariners and am currently 11-7. I am using zone hitting. Here are my team rankings so far:
            Batting
            BA .240 (30th)
            Runs 72 (21st)
            Hits 144 (27th)
            2B 28 (17th)
            3B 4 (7th)
            HR 17 (24th)
            RBI 66 (25th)
            SB 21 (1st)
            BB 49 (25th)
            K 144 (30th)
            Slg .386 (28th)

            Pitching
            ERA 2.39 (1st)
            CG 3 (3rd)
            Shutouts 4 (1st)
            Saves 3 (27th)
            Hits 130 (1st)
            HR 12 (1st)
            BB 21 (1st)
            K 127 (12th)

With these stats, pitching is a little strong, but with that being said, I just started a game and Vargas gave up six runs in the first inning against Detroit.
The batting statistics are pretty much in line with the Mariners lineup (pathetic). I have noticed I have more problems this year with pitch recognition, especially picking up the changeup, this is why my k's are extremely high so far. The batting engine has been totally revamped in my opinion compared to last year's game. I couldn't find a slider set last year that could hold me under .300 on All-Star or HOF, this year I can't hit my way out of a wet paper bag.

              TNK - RED SOX FRANCHISE

              Game #11 of The Season

The Rays jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 1st inning on an RBI double by Evan Longoria. Boston tied the game 1-1 in the bottom of the 2nd on an RBI ground out by Jed Lowrie scoring David Ortiz who led off the inning with a double. Jon Lester and David Price matched each other with very strong performances as the game was 1-1 entering the 7th inning. Sean Rodriguez put Tampa up 2-1 in the top of the 7th with a solo HR that wrapped around the Pesky Pole in RF. Dan Johnson added a solo HR in the top of the 9th to extend the Rays lead to 3-1. Kyle Farnsworth would pitch the 9th and pickup the save as the Rays have taken the first 2 games of the series and will look for the sweep tomorrow.

The scary CPU offense has gone missing.
I haven't lost in a while and the CPU has just 5 runs on 21 hits in the last 4 games (5.25 hits/game). I know 4 games isn't much but it feels too easy. I want to fear the big hitters, but right now I don't do that.
I guess it's time to bump up the difficulty to HoF.

I still have both good and bad games offensively on All-Star though.

i have borrowed a couple of ur sliders here. just wanted to congratulate u guys.

im using timing though and i keep solid hits at default.

1 question though, why did u guys keep wind at 3 even after the patch?
"on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"
Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.
yea but will they take psn cards
Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.

                  lol

I tested post-patch on default...its still out of control with way too many 20mph plus days.

                    3 is fine.

p.s. Sharp, believe me the CPU offense can still be scary on HOF, though my team ERA of 4.21 is ok for the division lead at the moment

Be patient, also don't bother with low pitches. I don't care if I strike out looking on the low pitches, because I know I'm eventually going to get good pitches to hit. More power to them if they can pitch the corners and get the calls.

To reiterate pyschobulk on the wind thing...

I upped it in my franchise to 5. In 6 games I've had 2 20 MPH games...one going toward the fences (home-run derby!) and the other coming towards home plate (pop out derby). I think I'm going to put it back down to 3 as well.
