If I am using Analog, is it possible I could still use these sliders? I tried it out and I'm having a tough time hitting. But is someone else has had success using these, Id be willing to try them out.

TNK--Mind if I post my franchise games on this thread also? Having some decent games and would liketo share results, but don't want to jack your thread with my dynasty games if you'd rather keep it sliders. Thanks2012 Chicago Cubs Franchise: The Show

Re: TNK & PsychoBulk ***The Perfect Slider Set 2011 Edition***
I noticed i get the best results using zone with these. On timing the batters hit too many weak and okay contacts for me. With zone i see line drives into the gap a bit more often.
If u use analog hitting I suggest bumping up solid hits to 4 or even 5. and lowering power to 3. I seem to get way too many HRs with analog, and if SH is less than 4 then u get too many weak/okay hits as well even with perfect timing.Comment

Solid Hits when at 2 caused more of a variety of hits for me as well...bad hits (not solid) that turned into doubles, barely bouncing fair then going to the corner. Things like that.Comment

Overall, these are the best sliders for me. Great variety in games on HOF difficulty. It's just when I connect...it goes over the wall, no doubters too. I'll push solid hits down one click and report back after 20 or 30 games. That'll take me about 2 weeks, haha.Comment

Also dont forget jkra you are also playing as the best power hitting side in the majors, leading real life MLB in slugging/homers too.
Play with the Pirates and you would see a difference lol.
Very good stats, thanks for sharing.Comment

Will do!
I like the batting averages where they are, so the contact slider stays. I don't want to mess with XBH, so the power slider stays where it is. My only two guesses come down to the Timing and the Solid Hits sliders.Comment

Re: TNK & PsychoBulk ***The Perfect Slider Set 2011 Edition***
I've experienced this as well but with human contact and solid hits at 5. I've also noticed that I get a lot of "excuse me" swings when I check swing, is it because of human contact sliders or is it all in my head?Comment

Re: TNK & PsychoBulk ***The Perfect Slider Set 2011 Edition***
2 were with Albert Pujols, 1 with Asdrubal Cabrera, and 1 with Andre Ethier.
Pujols hit the sweet spot and is the best hitter in the game. Asdrubal I have no idea how that happened, lol. Ethier I actually had a 2-0 count, breaking ball down the middle and power swung with square for the fences. It was truly beautiful. I've never used power swing in other Show games but when you get a favorable count like that and get such a nice pitch you have to swing for the fences.
I did the same later in that same game and got an off the wall double. This was against Doc Holladay mind you...
Patience is very key I've learned. Work the count, take some strikes even. I've learned to take if it looks like the ball is going to be low for a strike. 9 times out of 10 you're just going to hit a grounder to the SS or 2nd baseman.
I almost always take the first pitch for every batter unless he's a great hitter and the pitch is a sure strike.
Stick with it...lower the pitch speed to read the pitches then slowly raise it back up once you've gotten the hang of it.Comment
