Psycho is using HOF, but a few other who are using All-Star difficulty were pleased with 3 and I gave it a shot and so far I am happy with it. Gonna give it a few more games to assess and will report back.

I've been very busy since I got back from vacation and haven't been able to play much .

I disagree with the dude that posted about not striking the CPU out a lot... The last game I played was Marlins vs. Nationals and with Josh Johnson I had 8 K's in 7 innings... sure it could of been because I was using Josh but still... I hate to say this but you guys need to pitch better... easy as that

I am 26-20. You may be much better than me though. I lead the league in triples with Juan Pierre, Adam Dunn & Carlos Quentin are both top 5 in homers. Mark Teahen is my BA leader @ .297. Im getting a good variety of hits.

Cosign. Im averaging a K per inning or higher with Peavy, Danks, Santos, Crain, Sale, & Thornton. Even with all that, im 28th in strikeouts as a team. Why? Buerhle, Floyd, Ohman, & Jackson. Im actually not throwing a lot of BBs, that concerns me.

What are some of the biggest differences between these on all-star and hall of fame??

I don't see what the deal is with zone hitting being so much better. I have played 3 games with each...1 zone, 1 time, 1 zone, 1 time, etc. and have had better success hitting the ball with timing. All my home-runs have come with timing. Scored 14 runs with timing over 3 games and 4 runs with zone over 3 games.

I realize a lot of other factors should be thrown in but just thought I'd share that...

I still have yet to win a game but had that amazing game using timing and going 14 innings with the Astros.

Ha yes but I ment in terms of how the CPU actually plays. I've enjoyed playing on HOF but my only gripe has been the total lack of doubles and the abundance of home runs.

Of course everyone who uses zone is going to tell you zone is better, and everyone who uses timing will say the same for their respective option, they wouldn't be using it if they didn't think it was the best option available. You just have to learn to tune it out.

I just feel like I earn my hits more on zone and I honestly think the hit variety is better....especially when you go with a pitch.

IMO - if a pitch is low and away, you shouild have to go low and away with your swing. It's 2011 - no game sould be as simple as just hitting X and hitting the ball. Again, just my opinion.

I really do think the hit variety and realism is enhanced with Zone Hitting

Im sorry, but thats too small a sample size. I hit some dongs on timing, but the problem was it was a HR, single, or strikeout. No hit variety, feast or famine type gameplay. Now zone is a diff beast. Shots down the line? Check. Power to the alleys/gaps? Check. Opposite field bloops? Check. Its all there on zone. I cant say the same for timing.

Does anybody feel like POWER should maybe be lowered one notch to 3 for both the Human and CPU?

I'm not ready to make that change yet - but I have a feeling that may be the next refinement we come across. I'm wondering if that could cause some HR's to scrape the wall and turn into doubles and triples.

                                Thoughts?
