There isn't a cursor you need to aim or anything

If the pitch is low and away - just point low and away with the left stick and swing.

It's not hard at all - just give it time, don't quit after 1 game

Then why is it, when I do that, and miss the ball, the PCI shows to be in the middle of the box when I check what was wrong with my swing?

Yes, when I switched back to these sliders I followed PsychoBulk's theory of using zone without using the left stick to aim. Basically just focused on my timing. After several games of batting this way I found it easier to move the left stick to aim since my timing was better.

One reason that comes to mind is you might be aiming too late. You have to aim before you swing. Once you've pressed the swing button, the game "ignores" your input, and you can no longer adjust your PCI. You also have to hold it in that direction until you swing, you can't just, for example, press right, then release, then swing.

Go into Gameplay Options (first category in the list) and turn the PCI marker on (third option from the top), and play like that for a while, so that you can get a feel for whats going on under the hood.

I really think the first post should also be updated as something like version 1.3 and have a new date besides March 20, 2011 in bold because I didnt even notice the contact adjustments of april until I read the very bottom of the post and saw it was edited then.

I HIGHLY agree on this. For those that haven't checked into the thread that frequently and they just read what the last edit update was their going to miss out on the changes that occurred before it.

for whatever reason keep scoring 0-2 runs a game for 10 games. I would have the pci dead nuts on a pitch and it sounds like mush when I hit it. 5 hits a game has been my max. so frustrated right now I am about to hang er up for good. I think hitting is broken in this game to be honest. It's nothing like years past hitting wise.

Not sure why your having troubles... After 4 innings last night I was up 4-0 with the Marlins over the Mets with 5 hits and 2 of those were HR's... Don't give up like that!!!

TNK and Pyscho, whats the thought process with having the SOLID HITS for both the Human and CPU being at 2? Seems kind of low... But I haven't tested out the sliders for long enough to really judge. Just wanted your reasoning.

Are you using contact swing? Are you taking pitches? Be patient, I assure you the hits will come.

Its been raised to 3 fot both parties. Im not sure behind the reasoning of it being @ 3.
