Here is the site to use for posting boxscores - you only need to post the basics, score, hits, errors, extra base, HR and pitcher stats.....we don't need full boxscores with every players stats.

      Game 10 (or something):

      LAD: 5 11 1
      PIT: 4 12 0

      Win: C. Kershaw (6 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 4, Ks, 107 Pitches, 67% Strikes)
      Loss: A.J. Burnett (5.1 IP, 7 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 1 BB, 6 Ks, 99 Pitches, 61% Strikes, 39% First Pitch Strikes)
      Save: J. Guerra

      Extra Base Hits:
      LAD: 5 - 2B (2), 3B, HR (2)
      PIT: 3 - 2B (2), HR

      Strikeouts:
      LAD: 10
      PIT: 4

      Strike Percentage:
      LAD: 70% (99 Strikes, 42 Balls, 141 Total Pitches)
PIT: 65% (107 Strikes, 57 Balls, 164 Total Pitches, 46% First Pitch Strikes)

      Notes:

Interesting game. I've been trying to find the balance between Human Control and Consistency, because I use Analog Pitching. At 4-4, I get games like this one and the last one, with a whole bunch of pitches ending up in the middle of the plate, but still not being able to paint the corners, which sometimes results in walks as well. It kind of irks me to see Kershaw only getting 4 Ks against the Buccos' lineup. I'm going to try a a different combo, and see if I can find a balance.

Two things that I'm considering is turning both Human and CPU Solid Hits down by another click. Is it just me, or does everything the CPU hits (even foul balls) seem to jump off the bat? I have Human Contact at 6, and I've already dropped Power down to 4, but I just hit a HR with Dee Gordon the last game, and that kind of bothered me. Granted, anything can happen, but to me, balls just seem to be jumping off the bat far too often. I'll finish up this series before considering that.

          Are you using quick reply?

I copy the code, and click Post Reply, and do the full formatting. That might be why?

Not using quick reply. I'll give that a shot for my next game though and see if that helps. Thanks.

Just played Boston (ME) @ Seattle (CPU)

The Mariners left the bases loaded in the first inning as Jon Lester struggled but escaped the inning. Kevin Youkilis put the Sox up 2-0 in the 2nd inning as he crushed a HR to CF. The Mariners got on the board in the bottom of the 2nd inning on a Dustin Ackley RBI single to CF. Both Lester and Blake Beavan settled in and the score would reamin 2-1 until the top of the 6th when Youkilis connected again for a solo HR to make it 3-1. The mariners went to their bullpen in the 7th and Dustin Pedroia extended the Sox lead to 5-1 with a 2-run double. Boston went to Alfredo Aceves for the 7th inningand he got out of the inning with a 4-6-3 double play. Seattle brought in Shawn Camp t0 pitch the 8th inning and he threw a 1-2-3 inning. Mark Melancon pitched a 1-2-3 bottom of the 8th and the game would head to the 9th inning with Boston winning 5-1. Jarrod Saltalamacchia led off the top of the 9th with a solo HR to RF to make it 6-1. Justin Smoak hit a solo HR off Sox closer Andrew Bailey in the bottom of the 9th to makie ti a 6-2 game. Seattle then loaded the bases with 2 outs to bring the tying run to the plate in the person of Dustin Ackley but Bailey got Ackley to fly out to LF to end the game.

Re: TNK - 2012 Realism Sliders Thread

I had never tried timing hitting before, so I switched to it for an exhibition game and I liked it quite a bit, I struck out a more realistic 7 times against King Felix with the Nationals. He went 7 innings and I only scored 2 runs on him on but took a shutout into the 9th with Strasburg.

Got the first two guys out, Ichiro is up, hits a fly ball that I misplay and let him get to second on the E7. Next guy singles, I bring in the closer, hang a slider over the plate, goner. 3-2 heading into the bottom of the ninth. I draw a walk to get a guy on base but strand him. Good game for sure.

I definitely see the appeal of timing hitting. If I was better at moving the PCI with the ball in the air I would stick with zone but its just too much going on for me. I definitely see the "sim/realism" aspect of timing. Definitely sticking with pulse pitching though, I love it. Since this set is tailored for timing anyway I should stick with it as this set continues to get tweaked throughout this games lifecycle.

Another game where I drew 2 walks. Seem to be stuck on that number, but loving Royale's CPU pitching tweaks. Anyone else having success with those settings (CPU control, CPU consistency, CPU strike freq)

Minnesota. It was a good game. I ended the first inning having made Floyd throw 28 pitches. He settled in after that inning and made it pretty tough to get anything going. I did work a good amount of full count at-bats during the game. Oddly enough, the best at-bat of the game was the final out. I had a 12-pitch battle as Alexi Casilla against Matt Thornton. Ended with a groundout.

                        thanks for the shout out!

CPU makes a ton of errors. I'd say out of ten games, the CPU has made at least two errors in seven of them.

I have played 6 games with these sliders so far and while I am still getting used to the game so my stats would be slighted by my terrible batting thus far, I have seen the cpu make 14 errors in those 6 games.

However I have noticed the game charging the cpu with errors on plays where no error occurred. I found this out because I was playing Miami and they had a 1,2,3 inning on me. Two ground outs to 3B and a pop out to RF. The RF was charged with an error in the box score despite the fact that he simply caught a pop up with no problems at all.

I have seen this as well. Happened to me today with the shortstop.
