Same here in regards to 11 over 12 in some ways!

11-13 all have their charms and I love playing all three of those titles.

I played 12 last night in my 1978 Yankees replay.....what a fine game that still is too. And the plethora of rosters for 12 make the game repayable for years and years.

I am going to have a hard time when Next Gen comes out. I promised myself to wait a year or two....but with The Show....it is going to be so very hard.

Hey armor. Just want to say still playing with your all-star set and in my second year of tigers franchise. I'm enjoying playing the actual games so much that I only sim a few games here and there. My tigers have some power obviously but my avg w/ Risp is always low. It's only because I don't play smart baseball sometimes (over aggressive baserunning, not sac flying, etc.). I feel rewarded when I work the count and get the 3-1 fb I'm looking for. I also get frustrated when I swing at the 1st pitch with cabrera because I'm trying to smash a hr.

This game is great. Your sliders have made it better. I've never played so many games in a franchise before. Thanks again for all your hard work.
P.S- your sliders transfer over well for rtts mode, also, in case anyone asks.

Awesome stuff man. Glad your enjoying The Show as much as I do. I am in September in year one.....in the wild card cat birds seat by a .5 game over Oakland. And in June in my 1988 Season replay. Thanks for the kind words.

Haven't chimed in here in a while. I just had a game, though, which I have to share.

Playing vs. STL and Chris Carpenter, in my first inning I got him to throw 55 pitches for under a 50% strike rate with 5 BB!!!!!

I've never seen anything like that. I batted around and everything. I was shocked that this could even happen. I've forced 25 pitch innings before, but this blew me away.

Late but Human Pitching seems easy and I never seem to throw alot of pitches. Is this odd? Or does this change over the number of games you play. Otherwise sliders are great.

That's crazy! How long did he stay in the game?

He made it through 3 or 4, I think. They actually called up a starter to work 3 innings or so, that's how bad it was.

I was shocked that an inning like that could happen. I think I've only ever drawn 5 walks in an entire game once. That's the beauty of baseball. No other sport has the kind of statistical variety that baseball has. The season-long averages work out, but game to game you could see absolutely anything.

The more you play the more variability you will get. These sliders are designed for players who actually play at least 100 plus games a season.

It's been awhile.....but my year one Yankees franchise is heating up. We are at September 10th.....2 games behind now in the wild crad race.

I have my full team healthy for the first time all season.

Gardner - DH
Jeter - SS
Cano - 2B
Granderson - CF
Texeria - 1B
Rodriguez - 3B
Wells - LF
Cervelli - C
Ichiro - RF




We are tooth and nail and fighting for our post season lives. If we make it....I will write up the post season results for the Yankees.....if we fail....on to the off-season and year 2.


I am also solidering in my 1988 Yankees replay....going slow as M25 and NCAA 14 are consuming my game time right now.


But......I am sure as we get into the holiday season the 88 season will pick up lot's of steam.


I hope everyone is still enjoying The Show 13.....hands down my favorite sports game of all time for any console.


I am undecided on a PS4......the only thing that can hook me in next year is if The Show 14 is on the PS4.....that is the only way I cave.

The game was 1-0 going into the top of 7. Vernon Wells goes opposite field for a solo,shot to RC to tie things up.

Top of the 9th Granderson singles, Tex pops out, Arod rips a big single. 1st and 2nd Ichiro comes up and rips a sinking liner to center....Grandy comes around to score.


Bottom of the 9th Mariano enters to face the lefties Howard, Murphy and Pierzynski.

Howard on one pitch grounds out 5-3.
Murphy walks on a 3-2 cutter on the inside corner
Garcia pinch runs for Murphy
Pierzynski singles to right Garcia to 3rd.

Profar rips a liner to left......Wells snags it...fires to A-Rod who cuts...turns fires home to Stewart.....OUT AT HOME!!!!

Game over!!!!

Hughes went down with an arm injury after only 1 1/3. Andy comes in and pitches masterful only giving up a solo shot to Ryan Howard ( who was traded to Texas at the deadline for some excellent prospects).

Joba goes 1 scoreless
Robertson goes one scoreless
Rivera notches save number 43

Outrageous finish to a long season.....played over 120 games in this chise....ready to finish this strong....then fire up Year 2 in January and finish off the 88 replay before December.

What is your team ERA? I used ITBEME23 sliders, great in offense buy my ERA is around 2.50 (spring training all manually played and 17 games into season)

I can tell you it was not that low.

Stats around the league look great. Dominant pitchers were just that....dominant. Some surprise performers too. For example Jacob Turner was traded to the Diamondbacks and had a stellar year.
