Yep. Had this in MLB15 as well. It's like sunny is TOO bright since, unlike the players, I don't wear shades!

I usually put it on partly cloudy for day games when the game rolls up clear skies in day games.

Im 31 games into a Twins franchise. So far, zero injuries at all to the big league guys, however, a staggering 14 players on various DL's throughout AAA and AA. It seems every day, after I "sim through date" to go to the next day. Do I need to go change the slider after every game before I sim my minor league games, and then return it to 8???? Or is this just a remarkably tough stretch of my organization below the Majors?

      Thanks
I am not seeing this at all.
I am about 1 week or so into my Reds Franchise.
I have seen 1 in game injury, Adam Duvall pulled a rib cage muscle diving for a ball.
And I do not have anyone on the DL in the minors.

        I feel you!
This game owns my soul! I would make a deal with the devil if I could just play this game 16 hours a day.
With Armor's sliders and the OSFM rosters this game is pure bliss.
I have never been addicted to a game the way I am to this game right now.
I am struggling to win as I am 2-5 in my Reds Franchise.
Last night before I went to bed I took a 3-2 lead into the bottom of the 9th vs the Cubs.
I retired the first 2 batters only to have the next 2 single.
That brought up Rizzo down one with 2 outs and 2 on.
I got him down to 1 and 2 in the count when he preceded to hit a walk off HR to center, game over. I lost 5-3.
I played a lot of sports in my youth, heck I played D2 basketball in college and this is going to sound really cheesy!
But the agony of that loss last night vs the Cubs crushed me, I couldn't hardly sleep last night!
Again the realism in this game with these settings is mind blowing proof in how into each game I get!

I got shut down by Raisel Iglesias on Opening Day last night. Threw a complete game 2-hit shutout against me with 12 strikeouts.

I use the exact settings that Armor has on the first page.
My only concern with the sliders right now is HRS.
I have it 5 HRS thru 7 games with Votto.
I think he is just going thru a hot streak.
He only hit 3 I the 15 spring training games I played.
I can tell you have gotten so much better at hitting over the last week or so.
I really struggled to hit the first 30 or so games I played when I first got the game with Armors settings.
I also am not too concerned about hitting to many HRS as I have only hit a total of 10 as a team thru 7 games.

On a side note Jay Bruce has started the season 0-22 for me!
its crazy, I cannot get a hit with him. When I hit a ball hard with him it is right at someone.
Its also funny because he led my team in ave hrs and rbi's in spring training.
He batted .320 with 6 hrs and 12 rbi's in ST.

My only issue has been pitching. As I'm sure I've said multiple times on here. I'm just trying to figure out a good, happy medium. My problem is that with these sliders I'm not getting good strikeout numbers but if I play on analog I'm just too dominant (both on Hall of Fame).

In my 5-3 meltdown loss last night, Homer Bailey struck out 9 in 7.1 innings before I had to pull him. He threw the most pitches I have yet to ever throw, 118. Once his bar was gone I really struggled to throw a strike with him.

Ha ha, I feel ya man. I played football in college, and get the same feeling when I lose a game like that in Franchise. I think that thrill of competition is why guys like you and I play these games and are part of a "sim" community.

Last night I had my fifth starter pitching a gem vs. MIA in my chise with the Braves (the struggling Braves lol)...Up 2-0 in the 8th, walked a guy, brought in my set-up man, he gets things to 2 outs...Easy "roll it over" groundball to 2B, I screw up and overload the throw meter with my back-up second baseman, who's giving my starter a break, and he throws it over the 1B's head...

I hang a 2SFB over the plate to the next batter and the #7 hitter makes me pay for a mistake with a no-doubt 3 run bomb to Right Center...3-2 Marlins, Braves paltry offense can't produce and I lost...

Short story long, I basically sat in my easy chair for 10 minutes having to build up the will to play my next game in the chise...Devastating loss, and one that I can only get over after taking a break to do some dishes to relieve the pain lol!!!!

It's games like this that make these franchises so enjoyable...The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat vs a cpu on Armor's sliders make this worth playing for this old jock.

ARMOR: I'm about 15 games into the first year of my chise with ATL, this after playing the entire ST while you worked out your sliders. The result? A perfect simulation of Baseball and likely the best sports game experience I've had since I was a kid playing Triple Play (I'm 33). Great job Armor and thanks for sharing your knowledge and passion with us via the forums.

I've basically accepted the fact that I'm just going to have fewer strikeouts and more walks. I'll take this as opposed to leading the league in strikeouts, ERA, and walks allowed.

I struck out 6 over six innings with Arrieta. Not quite Arrieta-like but then again, his real life numbers look like beginner level pitching on The Show.

Hi Armor and guys..... I have a couple of quick questions. I have played a few games with these sliders and they are great !! Like last year,I don't have a lot of playing time (the wife, work). I plan on doing just a 1 yr. Mets franchise....my plan is to play 1 game, simulate 10 games, play 1,sim 10 ect. For the year. Basically I will just be playing about 15 games for the year. Last year I used Armors set..... with Human Timing slider up to 6 instead of 5 . I remember last yr with Human Timing at 5 , I was only getting 4,5 hits per game and not many runs. So I moved it to 6 and it seemed to be a sweet balance for me. Has anyone tested HUMAN TIMING at 6 this yr ? Too many HUM hits with HUM Timing at 6 ? Also,I play on all star hitting and pitching. Thanks in advance for any help out there !!

I seem to be in the same boat as you. I like the challenge of HOF pitching and have great stats using it but my strikeout totals are pretty low. I can not seem to get the cpu to chase anything and if the pitch is anywhere in the zone the cpu will make contact. But I will take it vs. my other option of moving back down to all star.

Well, it seems as though persistence has paid off for me. That or I figured something out.

After multiple games where Jake Arrieta looked like the second coming of Rick Ankiel (pitching version) I have just had two stellar games on the bump. One with Arrieta and one with Lester. I was hitting spots very well and keeping batters off balance. I think I had 8 punchouts with Arrieta in just six innings and seven with Lester over as many innings. And I still issued a couple of walks. The pitching felt great overall.

It might just be a placebo, in fact I'm pretty sure it is, but I started to press the button a little more firmly when pitching. Aren't dual shock 4's pressure sensitive? If they're not then I'm the first to admit I'm just dumb. But I also held the button for approximately a "one-onethousand," and I just seemed to have so much better control and break on my pitches as evident by my more realistic strikeout totals.

Here's to hoping that I can just enjoy the game and not constantly be looking for the right settings. Ha.
