hey mod what does spd stand for? assumed it was for fielder speed?
and what is OFA figured it was outfield arm? going to try these modifier games.

I will be back in April with some new Modifiers for MLB17. Thanks for all that provided feedback over the past year. I have been off line over the past several months due to being overseas. Looking forward to the next installment of the MLB. Hopefully not too many slider changes to tune in so I can focus on what modifiers to use this year to add a little twist to the game and bring more excitement.

It's great to be back this year and I look forward to another great season. Hopefully we can get some realistic game play and improvements since MLB16. I have added the current settings and modifiers for your review and suggestions. I believe together we can churn out another good product and close to real life stats as we did last year.

                      Re: True Game MLB Sliders

Before I start my franchise testing will proceed so I selected two random teams. I got the Phillies Away and played at the Dodgers.

                      Final Score 2-0 LA

Philly had 4 hits, 29 AB, 5 BB, 15 K, and 0 HR. - As like last year I need to be patient 15 K's does not cut it but I was facing Kershaw for the first 7 innings.
                      LA had 5 hits, 29 AB, 3 BB, 7 K, and 1 HR. Kershaw K'd 10.

Modifiers were +1 Spd and +1 OFA, +1 Timing Human, and -1 Contact Human.

Game flow seemed to flow well again on quick counts and the fielder speed of zero (0) looks good and they still appear fast. The game appears to play well so far and the animation looks good. Starter Stamina of 6 looks like it is about right.

I will continue to provide feedback as I play some random games. I don't expect to start my franchise until later next week anyhow, about the same time the regular season starts so I can get the most up to date rosters.

Hey Coach are you going to wait for the OSFM roster to come out before starting your franchise?

Are you seeing a good variety of hit types with solid hits at 5?

Yes, for now I am just going to fine tune everything to iron out the sliders the best I can.

So far yes an even distribution. 5 is something I want to keep any eye on, because last year 5 was too high from game to game as a baseline. I found that 3-4 worked best last year, because I had a few cards in there were you could get a +1 or -1 modifier. Right now on my V1 for 17. I only have a few cards for a +1 and the max would only be 6. I will provide an update as to what I am seeing and if you have any feedback that would be great.

                                Re: True Game MLB Sliders

I am at a loss for words. I just played another test game and lost 4-0 to the Yankees as Tampa Bay. Opening day game. To top things off I was NO HIT. I have now played 3 games and have not scored one run. I have had 1 hit, 4 hits, and now 0 hits. The CPU seems to be playing well. I am having an issue with timing, because I have never had a issue like this and I have a contact of 5 and power of 6 for the game.

Here were the game stats and the modifiers for the game were:

                                -1 Con H, +1 Pwr H, and (Fielder reaction -1 and pitch consis -1 C/H)

                                TB AB 26, Hit 0, BB 3, K 17, HR 0, RUNS 0
                                NY AB 37, Hit 11, BB 0, K 8, HR 0, RUNS 4

Not sure what the issue is with timing or if anyone else is having issue. I struck out 17 of 26 AB, terrible. I have gotten worse each game 14, 15, now 17. Everything was early. I have going to have to take some batting practice and have better patience since I am playing on Quick Counts.
