Ahh lol I misunderstood, thanks for the clarification.

Gonna stream the series finale with Texas and hope I don't manage to lose yet again. I did make a trade for Drew Storen and sent old *** Cishek down to AAA where he can either rot or work his **** out and come back up in the future potentially.

Armor, I noticed you have human reliever stamina at 5 in quick manage sliders but 3 in gameplay sliders. Is this correct or should human reliever slider also be 5 in gameplay sliders. Thank you great sliders having a blast playing on quick counts.

Should be default 5 for both human and CPU on gameplay set and quick manage.

I don't stress about strike percentage. I rather have a tougher more intelligent CPU pitcher and just one click up did that. Strike percentages still look realistic.

Got it. Makes sense. It doesn't affect the strategy though correct? You mean they just throw "better strikes" that are harder to put better contact on. Even with the Mets great pitching rotation I still get hit pretty hard on HOF. I may leave the strike frequency alone so as to generate more offense haha.

That's great as I was always seemed to be able to get rather easy walks before. So basically I should just copy what is new on the first page and resave it into franchise? I use QC so I hope that's ok.

Having a great time on your sliders (before the update) last game won 6-3 against Baltimore, but before that a 7-1 loss to KC.

Sanchez has been great all year but he started this one poorly in the second inning walking 4 straight to give up the 1-0 lead. After a Coughlan double, SmithJr would sacrifice him to third and Pillar would drive him in, 1-1. Martin would hit a solo shot in the 4th to make it 2-1

Chris Davis hits a 2 run shot in the 6th to end Sanchez's night but next inning, Bautista crushes a 2-run shot to make it 4-3 and means Sanchez could still win it. Toronto would get solo shots by Bautista (2nd of the game) and Tulo to go up 6-3 and Osuna would save it.

Just goes to show the variety from game to game. Love the sliders. I started with pretty much no injuries when it wAs set to 8, but now this month LF has been a hole for injuries as I have seen a ton In played games. Should I bump to 9 or keep it as is. I am also seeing good errors at 6 all around for me but may bump it up 1.

Perfect, I had mentioned this earlier today as I wasn't sure if it was meant to stay at 3 for the user or match the CPU and go to 5.

On a side note I'm taping out on HOF 4/4 user pitching. It's not necessarily them being too erratic for me it's more that when they are erratic pitches miss by feet not inches. I streamed earlier and forme95 can attest, I wasn't trying to bury pitches and they were all over the place. Felix threw another 3 wild pitches in the game that directly lead to 2 runs and I lost 6-4 so without those wild pitches it would have been anyones game. I raised them both to default 5/5 halfway through the game and found that pitches that a pitcher had good command on showed through finally without it being a complete roll of the dice as to whether it would land anywhere near its intended target or not.

I know you always say to go with whatever works for each individual user I just hate deviating in anyway that makes it "easier" for myself I guess lol. I had no issues moving CPU pitching sliders to 5/5/5 or pitch speed to 7/9 as it was making it tougher but when I move them to make it easier I guess there is some sort of internal guilt associated with it. If the CPU offense has trouble then I'll go from there but the wild pitches were driving me nuts and they were happening on pitches that really shouldn't have even gone low enough to bounce in the first place.

Perfect example of the above problem happened when forme95 was watching. Felix Hernandez has a control rating of 90 in his sweeping curve. I tried to place it low in the zone and it bounced for a wild pitch, certainly wasn't trying to bury it at all, more induce a ground ball, forme95 told me I should try aiming higher. I threw the same pitch, same location, same effort and this time it hit the bottom of the zone perfectly. I don't expect perfection but had I aimed higher to try and take into account the potential for a wild pitch I'd have hung the pitch when it actually went near where it was supposed to and didn't make a bee line for the dirt. Then I brought in Evan Scribner who has 99 control on his fastball, tried to throw it low and away and he threw it high and out of the zone and this wasn't with max effort as I hardly ever go to the vibration. I mean he literally missed his mark so badly it was as if a little leaguer was out there pitching yet here he has a 99 control in that specific pitch.

Anyways, seriously fantastic sliders so don't think I'm knocking them at all. I'm having far more fun on this years game with these sliders then I ever did on last years game with my own so I can't thank you enough for the testing you did on these. If you saw my numbers on the season for both the CPU and myself you'd see that they are literally right around the MLB averages in nearly every category minus wild pitches, walks for the CPU and K's for me. That's pretty damn impressive imo so a huge thanks again.

I'm starting to think I need to move up to HOF hitting. Despite being 27th in batting average, I'm first in homers by 14. Nelson Cruz has 28 homers in 60 games and Seager and Cruz are also in the top 10.

LOL yeah I won't be going that route anytime soon.

As a follow up to my previous post. I raised user pitching to 5/5 and had Ariel Miranda on the hill. He doesn't have very good control ratings as he's pretty much a rookie (59-46-39-49) so as you can see, nothing to get excited about. He has an over powering fastball and that's about it so if he can get that going it makes his other pitches better but when he can't it's a nightmare. Well, with it at 5/5 he didn't disappoint....assuming your a Detroit Tigers fan. He went 4.2 and gave up 4 runs on 8 hits, he did strike out 6 thanks to that over powering fastball but he also walked 2. In other words his WHIP for this game alone was damn near 2.50 and his ERA nearly 9.00 so the whole 5/5 setup certainly didn't make pitchers pitch above their ratings.....and yes he threw a wild pitch lol. I had to save mid game but am losing yet again, the June collapse continues (7-10) and isn't looking like it's going to stop anytime soon.

On a positive note I now have Valencia and Cano back who each hit solo HR's this game to account for 2 of the 3 runs I've scored but I'm still trailing in the 7th 5-3.

I did see my first error on a throw into the stands on a double play. Prior to that the only time I'd see an infield throwing error was if it pulled the first baseman off the bag but that was it so was kinda nice to see something different. That error actually scored the runner who was advancing to third and that's how I scored all my runs (between that and the 2 solo HR's).

Question- Is there a way to shut off the slow motion live action shots of close plays at second base when somebody steals?
