Holy crap I love the little things haha. Jay Bruce just hit a three run walk off homerun. They gave him the interview at the end of the game and two of my players came up laughing behind him and shook him on his shoulders during the interview LOL. I don't remember that happening last year!

Got a walk off hr to sweep the top Astros now 8 game win streak.

Here's a video of the later portion of the game. https://youtu.be/PPzP5fhQOEg

Curious to hear what armour thinks about this... My general impression so far is similar in amount of hr

I'm using the Hybrid and the only change I would suggest if you are on All Star Pitching is the Control 2 and Consistency 3 might be a bit low to work well with the pitch edits as the Pitch Control Ratings are lower than the stock SCEA ratings. I'm using Control 4 Consistency 4 with good results so far.

Ten 4 thanks I've been on HOF pitching with good results but thought about messing with the hybrid to see what's up

HOF Pitching with 4/4 should be good starting point. There is a nice Hybrid OD 40 man with Equip Edits in the vault if you wanted to give it a try. I played last years Hybrid with exact Armors Sliders and had a blast. For me it is all about the Pitch edits.

I believe he tried it and didn't like it but there's simply too many homers on all star.

First inning on HOF, Cruz hits his 29th. Maybe he's meant to hit 80.

What about pitch speed? I haven't hit as many HR's since going with default CPU pitching sliders and moving the pitch speed to 7/9. For the month of June I'm hitting them at a 1.35/G clip but in May I was at 1.46/G and April I was at 1.85/G. Granted Nelson Cruz has been injured for quite sometime so that could play into my numbers going down but at the same time it's looking promising. I ask about pitch speed as it gives you less time to read a pitch causing you to chase a little more making weaker contact a little more resulting in fewer HR's or at least that's the idea. If you haven't raised pitch speed I'd give that a shot until you're late on 93-95 mph fastballs unless you're sitting on it and see what your results look like then.

I was going to ask, what is with breaking speed two clicks higher? Is that so a fb and a breaking ball look like they are coming at the same speed for timing?

I have them that way more because Armor did and I just increased each by a click until I got to 7/9. I'm assuming it's so the visual difference between a fastball and a change isn't so bad that you have no shot at timing it while at the same time if you don't read it and read fastball you'll still be early. I played Yu Darvish the other game and that guy has a 93mph fastball and a 68mph curve so I don't think I could go lower with the offspeed slider as it was damn near impossible to not swing and miss on the curve when you've gotta be looking for the fastball as well.
