I do see a little less errors than normal I think. But then I had one game they made two errors on one play.

I'm noticing that there should be more plays that are ruled errors and they give them a base hit. I had a pitcher hit the ball back to the pitcher...routine play and he bobbled it and the runner was safe and they gave my pitcher a hit. Sometimes a throw would pull the first basemen off the bag and they would give him a base hit.

Yeah that is part of the problem as the score keeper is being lenient on some plays I would have deemed an error as well.

I will fiddle with errors soon. I just want to make sure hitting is locked in (and I believe it really is now with that simple solid hits at default tweak we made).

I am using the OSFM 1.5 with default contracts roster and these sliders and am loving every pitch!

Quick question when I am influencing hits where I want to hit the ball (I use only in certain situations) do I have to hold it or can I just move it and let it go?

Have to hold it at the same time as your swing

You must hold it pre-pitch and during the swing as well.

Just wanted to touch on this really quick, I am playing 94 franchise from Phil and carried it over from 16...I tell you what with that roster and your sliders, it feels like a teenager again, I'm rolling with the Nations, or Expos, to bring them a World Series...man had a great game last night with Maddox on the mound and he sit me down...his stuff was not dominate like we think he played me mix in those change ups and I was done...but I did get to home once with a two run jack from Alou...but anyway... these are amazing and highly recommend these sliders and that roster for any baseball player out there...

I was absolutely dominating the CPU with my pitching, holding them to a .200 average and about 2 runs a game for about a 20 game sample size. I suddenly turn Human Pitcher Consistency down from 4 to 3 and have just given up 21 runs in 3 games and 12/13/12 hits respectively. Had one game where I held the CPU to 4 runs on 7 hits but Human Pitcher Consistency seems to have a HUGE impact on CPU offense.

If anyone is dominating the offense try turning it down. I'm not sure what it does but it definitely does something. I thought I was leaving more balls over the plate but the CPU just seem to mash so much more now I've adjusted it. Makes it so much more rewarding getting W's and outs.

Solid hits at 5 since the patch is absolute gold. Just played my first game post patch and it was one of the most satisfying games I've had so far. Saw an even bigger hit variety than before including a bloop double that would have easily been caught 2 days ago. Good stuff.

Trying the new sliders in game 3 of my fantasy draft franchise.

Cubs (me) vs Cards

Zach Davies vs Gio Gonzalez

First inning first batter I got on base with Tyler Saladino who then proceeds to steal second (auto baserunning). I then get a big double from my 2 hitter Avisail Garcia which scores Saladino. Two batters later, the cleanup man Mike Napoli delivers a 2-run homer to deep center field.

Two innings later, I manage to get another solo homer from big Mike Napoli. Next half inning however, Zach Davies finally gives up his first hit, a double, to Travis D'Arnaud. Ender Inciarte is up 2 batters later and swings on the first pitch and sends a nicely hit fly ball to the outfield to score D'Arnaud. Next batter, Nick Castellanos, hits a homer over the left field fence to drive in Inciarte. Now its a 4-3 game and Davies is still trying to get out of this inning.

I had an absolute nightmare game when I was originally on Human Pitcher Consistency at 3. The Nationals hit 6 homers and had 17 hits and 15 runs against me... after that I got slideritis and had to turn it up. Had no idea it would affect their offense for those 20 games as much as it did. Since this patch has seemed to nerf the power a bit, hopefully I won't see another one of those outbursts unless I truly deserve it!

Yeah man hitting is great and the only thing I detected was a ever so slight drop in solid contact that default now acts like we had it at 4 pre patch.

Other than that boys we are golden.

My word is my bond (little dumb and dumber movie reference ****)
